Ready to use and bigger screen and battery than similar iPhone

This phone is great for elderly people like my mom who is 69 years old and is new to social media and digital apps in general. I have taught her how to use this phone. It is great as a smart phone and great in not being too sophisticated that will allow my mom to understand everything.

I bought this phone for a person who never had a smart phone. It is cheap enough in case they loses it or breaks it on the job. It is also good for someone who does not use a phone except to call, or text people or look up info on the internet. Plus checking email.

great phone for the price. only one complaint: it was hard to find a case for this phone! had to order directly from otterbox which took 2 weeks. other than that its great!

Solid basic phone with sufficient "features" to more than satisfy my needs. Had an older version of Samsung phone and most changes seem beneficial...some I find a little annoying and don't seem beneficial.

If you do not need all the latest and greatest than this phone might be for you. It has a lot of features that most people actually use and a few you may not. The price is very affordable. Works well as a phone and decent for everything else.

This phone is great, it is exactly what someone needs unless you do over the top things with your phone. Personally I don't need to impress the person next to me, I want to receive calls, check messages send emails surf the web, when necessary. and have reliable communications. This phone does it all. So pay the extra month charge for your more expensive phone, me ? ,I'll use the extra cash per month I saved and use it to have some fun.

I'm still getting used to this phone but so far it's been great. I did not want to spend a fortune for an upgrade to more than I needed. This phone has been more than up to the task. I don't watch a ton of video or game on my phone.

Paid way more at a Verizon store for a Samsung 8. This phone is just and good for what we need and way less expensive. The staff at Best Buy in Grand Rapids were very helpful.

I had to get a new phone for my mom. She has a samsung now so we didn't want to change that on her. This is just a little down grade from the other samsungs out there. Work great and she is very happy with it.

My son broke his phone, and I needed a cheap replacement for him. This does everything he could possibly need, and at a quarter of the price of other phones.

I was going from a flip phone to this smart phone. After a number of questions I found it fairly easy to use for calling and texting. I still Ned to learn more advanced items.

$5/ month starter phone for a 12 year old. Does the job, allows him to stay in touch, do what he needs to do. He doesn't need all the bells and whistles of the s10+.

Good for the price point....missing alot features from flagship models but for the price, makes it a perfect options for first time phone buyers..i.e. kids or grandparents

My mom is older and the switch from her basic to a smart phone was going to be hard but the J7 is very easy and doesn't have all the stuff that a full smart phone has so it isn't as overwhelming

I have had a great time "fine tuning" my phone to my preferred items. I love the camera, it is easy to use and takes great shots. The phone itself it just fantastic and I enjoy using it.

Samsung delivers solid phones, and the android experience is similar to previous phones I have owned in the same bracket. The camera and screen resolution are not as high quality as the flagships Galaxy or Note models, but still take decent pictures and view content and video with no clarity issues and great color & brightness output. If they rolled out a custom android experience tailored to older generations with little to no technological savvy, would definitely earn a 5/5!
