This is an excellent tablet. the speed is great and screen quality is awesome. although i hate all the bulk these and others load on their products. at least you can disable most of it.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 version is a great addition to my computer collection. I use it every day for a variety of reasons. I use it at work to take notes using the S-Note feature. Being able to keep all my notes with me when in meeting is invaluable. Beats lugging around those file folders. Also, it is great to use personally with Chromecast. The reason I chose the Galaxy over the iPad was the ability to expand. I inserted a 64GB microSD and is took with no issues. I travel a lot and load movies and some games which run flawlessly. The battery life is okay. I can get most of the day out of one charge. I wish the speakers were on the front as with the previous version but headphones make this a mute point. The device is light and easy to hold. I did add the Zagg shield which is invaluable with a touch device. I have used it for 2 months with no scratches. The S pen is the main reason I purchased this device. I use it every day. It is responsive and does exactly what I need it to do. The final great thin is the local Samsung rep. He/she is great to set everything up and I walked out of the store with a fully functioning device ready to go.

Easy to use, very user friendly. Stylus is great. Beingable to write instead of using Keyboard is my favorite feature.

I love, love this Samsung Galaxy Note Tablet! I use a lot for my business and it's very easy to use. I love the S Note - it lets me take notes as if on a regular notepad and I am able to draw if I need to as well. I have the original KF, KF HD, iPad 3, BB Playbook so I have used several tablets on different platforms. By far, this is the tablet I use for work and I definitely recommend anyone who is looking for a tablet, don't hesitate - BUY IT! I'm glad I did.

Purchased for Christmas for the family to use for entertainment and also school projects. Our first tablet. Like the ability to open multiple applications at the same time, ability to save to external source and the use of the pen. Easy set up, nice screen size and graphics. No complaints so far.

The Note 10.1 is my workhorse at the office and at home. I'm a project manager (read organizing nut), and this thing goes to every meeting so I can take notes and have information available. When I get home, I'm searching for and following recipes, checking out the latest status updates, following up on emails, and updating my calendar for the next adventure. I was able to find a decent cover online from a different retailer. The kickstand is awesome as I now can have it handy in the kitchen for recipes. The ability to have 2 apps open at once is awesome for looking at recipes and creating grocery list based on it. I have yet to try to have the same app open at once (how else can I look at 2 Evernotes at once?). The S-Pen has it's moments of usefulness, especially with the Quick Memo upon opening the cover (I jot down grocery items). The battery has been lasting 3ish days for me when being used at work and at home. I'm sure it could go longer if I didn't have so many alerts and apps running.

The Samsung - Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition - 16GB - Black is an excellent android tablet! Prior to this tablet, I had owned a Viewsonic G-Tablet that my husband modified/upgraded to run Jellybean. It was a good tablet that I used for about three years. But it started to become a little flakey. I was looking for something a little more reliable and narrowed my choice down to two: the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition and the Asus Transformer. Both had comparable processing speed (though I think the Asus's Tegra 4 processor has a little bit of an advantage, especially with faster graphics processing.) But for me, the sound quality of the Samsung tablet was the deciding factor!! With stereo speakers on board, the sound is fantastic! When I am not using the tablet to read or to surf the net, I watch movies which sound absolutely fantastic on this tablet. I believe a made a great choice by choosing this tablet. I love this tablet!!!

I absolutely love my Galaxy Note 10! The battery lasts a long time and it's light enough to use when I'm sitting on the couch or laying in bed. I love using the SPen so much! The screen is amazing and I haven't had a single complaint about the tablet.

This Is a great product, but a little overpriced on launch. full of features and the S-pen is a good add by Samsung. The only gripe I have is the lack of apps available on mulitiview and pen window. Pen window is a great feature falling flat due to lack of app. However with a few custom tweaks via googling a few things these both can be unlockec for much higher potential.

I bought this tablet over the Windows Surface because of the features offered, the lower price & the quality of the Samsung brand. So far this tablet has mostly met my expectations. For those who are used to using Microsoft Office programs, it may be a bit difficult transitioning to the Polaris programs (this was a surprise to me). The tab has a long battery life for a light user like myself - I only need to charge it once a week. The sound quality is pretty good, not great, but screen quality is excellent. I've found my tablet freezes up at least once a week (seems to be an issue with lots of Samsung products) but is easy to fix. I love the dual screen, so helpful when doing multiple online searches or online while using the office program. For its size the tablet feels a bit bulky, not comfortable to hold for a long period of time without a stand or folio. Overall this would be a worthwhile purchase for a casual tablet user or student.

This is my first tablet. I love the portability of it. For example, I can look up where I saw that actor before, on IMDB, while I'm watching TV. The screen quality is fantastic. Photos look great. The short "boot" time (less than 10 seconds) when you turn it on corrects for the annoying 1 minute boot time on my PC. I'm still getting used to the Android methods of switching between programs, since I'm used to a PC.

I've only had this tablet for a month but I love it! I initially wanted it to take with me to school for notes since it's lighter than my macbook. I love that I can look at lecture slides while taking notes and it's so easy to copy and paste pictures, graphs, and tables from the slides to my notes. I also love what I call the bonus features. It's the perfect size for watching movies on the go, and I love that I can connect it to my TV for watching youtube, netflix, or whatever, something that my husband's iPad mini can't do. Overall I'm very happy with this tablet and I've only begun to discover all that it can do.

Pros: Great Screen, good sound, Mainstream applications like Netflix work without a hitch, Spen, Haptic feedback with keyboard, fully featured keyboard, can remote desktop into Windows with the Remote Desktop App. Cons: Short battery life, Poor integration with Cloud, no Integration with Private Networks (at least nothing I can find), Application Permissions are too broad in scope (why does a recipe application require access to my contacts, accounts, and snap photos without my permission?), cannot turn off keyboard auto correct, cannot make the keyboard simply vanish or resize/change shape, at the click of a button, Spen needs more applications (Why is my note pad on a 10.1 keyboard so small?) Spen needs better integration into apps (sourly lacking in innovation Samsung - please make this the tool to have), Case is $80. Samsung, you can keep the case. I'm not buying it for $80. Over all I am happy with this tablet. Personally, I would have gone with the Windows Surface Pro 2 however I had some defective hardware, returned it, and went with plan B due to time constraints. The Samsung Tablet is chock full of features. I've had this for three weeks and I'm still finding stuff. And that's an issue with this product. I'm finding my way around the system and the interface. Also, Android, as a whole, doesn't integrate with home network well. If you have a folder share someone where on your network you'll have to find another way to share those photos and files. I haven't found a way yet to map a network drive. And cloud integration is still infantile at best. If I edit a document in cloud storage the edit is saved locally somewhere in the bowels of Android. I have to dig it out and then use magic to upload my edits back to the cloud. Come on Google.

While it was more expensive than other tablets out there, I'm quite happy that I went with this one. From using it to share videos on the TV to reading books or checking out How To videos for reference when I'm working on a car or mower this tablet is great.

I spent a few weeks reading reviews and specs on different tablet devices before choosing this one. My main purpose for purchasing it was for school, and having the stylus and ability to use multiple windows was really the deciding factor. I like Samsung as a brand, and this Galaxy Note tablet has not disappointed.

I have a Galaxy Note 3 and love the S-pen features. I bought this tablet for the same reason. I love this tablet. A lot more features than my iPad and a much better operating system. Much better speakers than the iPad.

I bought this for the utility of the Note's S-Pen, and have not been disappointed. I really like the flawless integration with Evernote. That being said, the Android tablet OS (or it might be Samsung) is very clunky and hangs often. If you are moving from iOS be prepared for this. It cn be annoying. Also, know that only apps that have been programmed to use the mutli-window can use this.

Have been wanting a tablet for a long time. Tired of web surfing with my phone. The Samsung products kick butt! Screen resolution is fantastic, lightweight, easy to use. And it isn't an Apple product!

We purchased this for our son to sue for both school work and for pleasure. I like it so much that I have even "borrowed" to view my emails, search the web, and make purchases. This is fast and reliable.
