I purchased my own some time ago and bought this one for my son. He is a computer "geek". He claims not to like the operating system but uses it all the time. Need I say more?

Great tablet for everything. Great screen quality for watching movies. I love the S-pen feature for hand writing notes. Great for playing games on too. Can't think of a dislike yet.

Already own Nexus 7. Purchased because of larger screen size. Screen clarity and ease of operation of the Samsung has relegated the old tablet to a backup role.

I like the versatility of this tablet over others. The ability to write which then converts to text is great. You can also extend the memory with a card.

First, I have two Apple IPADs, an iPhone and Mac computer. Consequently I am familiar with the Apple IOS. I purchased the Samsung Note 10.1 2014 edition because it has a couple of features that I would like to use at work. There is a bit of a learning curve with the Note - maybe only because I am familiar with the Apple products. However, the screen resolution and stylus are great features.

I bought this tablet for college, after two years of doing the old-school paper notebook and pen thing. Wow, what a difference! I can access the internet wherever I am, take notes, and read for class all on one device! I love it! Perfect screen size for reading, writing, or just playing around on facebook. My new addiction is Kindle unlimited, which I highly recommend. I've been reading so many books for fun, that I'm having trouble getting homework done! I love it because it's no extra weight to carry around, and the books that aren't included on the unlimited program are SO much cheaper than paper copies that weigh extra weight and get beat-up when I carry them around! So, WIN-WIN-WIN! Love it, keeping it, highly recommend it!!! :D

Best phone i have had thus far. All the the things you can do with it. My favorite part about this phone is the S pin.. kids love that they can drawl with it. Its great to write with. This phone is my new lap top.. i play games, have several to do list and the calandar is great.. love this phone.. did i mention that the screen is big enough to watch movies to..

We got this for our daughter. She loves it. It is much faster than her old one. I had thought the S-Pen would be bigger, but she enjoys the functionality and options. Easy to set up.

I purchased this as a gift for my husband. He loves it! Lots of features. Easy to navigate. Get e-mail Watch Videos Netflix sooooo much more!

Overall this is a great tablet. Screen resolution is top notch and processor speed is as well. I have not used the Samsung apps much but appreciated the App Store credit included with registration. I have not done technical comparisons on the battery life, but it does seem a bit shorter than an old iPad. Still makes it through the day with fairly heavy use.
