    You'll love the Phone

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is a great phone. One review indicated that the phone is an international phone. Not the one I got. My phone's product number indicated it would have been a T-Mobile phone (N910T) (see gsmarena dot com). Regardless, it is fully functional on U.S. networks and operates on the 4G LTE network. What is really nice about the phone is that it has 3GB of RAM and 32 GB internal memory. The most current (more expensive) phones have made incremental improvements for much more money. The phone also has a micro SD slot for additional storage. I bought the 64GB Samsung pro+ micro SD which has a 90MB/second write speed, making use of the phone's faster processor speeds. See J. Yang's November 29, 2015 comparative review on Amazon regarding SD cards. This particular phone has the quad-core Qualcomm 2.7 GHz processor and its operating system is KitKat 4.4. Samsung also made the phone with the octa-core Exynos 7. While I was trying to learn if the Note 4 octa-core was going to work domestically, the last one sold :( :( ! My research indicates the octa-core is slightly faster. My Qualcomm is good. Both run on the current 64-bit system. Searches are reasonably quick. Email interface and settings are great. Downloads and live streams work well. GPS navigation is really good. The only disappointment is that the literature indicates that the Note 4 OS is upgradeable to Marshmallow. After getting the phone, Samsung Best Buy could not find a download, and third party vendors I visited were not familiar with doing the upgrade. The literature indicates Marshmallow enables more apps to operate from the SD card, which would have been a very nice feature and for which I planned in buying that 64GB Samsung Pro + microSD. The phone comes with an excellent earpiece, something I use all the time. It has built-in noise cancellation, and my wife can now hear me when I am driving. There is a real difference for the people on the other end of the call. I also like the fact that the battery can be removed from this phone for replacement or forced shut-down (though I have not had to do either). The charger is a fast charger, and this phone's charging system is noticeably quicker than those on preceding models. This Note 4 also sports a very good camera. It has built-in stabilization and, between its auto-focusing system, megapixels, and lighting, the final outcome is a very high quality image. Last, the S-pen is great. I have actually gone paperless now in some settings. And whenever someone passes on some information about which I need to make a short or temporary note, the S-pen is with me and perfect for pulling out to make the quick note. The one negative of the S-pen is that it creates faint scratches on my Zagg Glass screen protector. I love the Zagg Glass for protecting the screen, and Zagg took care of the issue; but, the S-pen will scratch it. You'll love the phone.

so I got the phone and I wanted to upgrade it to lollipop or marshmallow but the phone is stuck with kitkat, so I took it to best buy when the tech support rep. discovered that this was originally a T-mobile version that was unlocked and they can try to upgrade it to marshmallow but it might be locked back again to T-mobile, so I wanted to return it back and now they want to charge me 35 $ restocking fees, when I refused to accept this they told me to return it online so they do not charge me, so I did return it online but they still charged me, and I had to contact customer service twice to discuss this issue. so only buy it if you are OK with a software that is 3 or 4 years old and would not upgrade ( which I would not recommend at all).

My att note 4 crashed on me so I grab this guy up. The bloatware and and other settings and stuff is just totally different. I'm not able to customize it as much as I could with the att version.

I had an ATT note 4 before this one that shorted out on me. I decided on this phone because I thought you couldn't go wrong with best buy. This version of the note 4 has been a headache. You can't send or receive emails while on WiFi, it said I was still connected to my work WiFi even though I was 20 minutes away from work, and a bunch of other small things. I have the SM-N910T2 and it feels like it's a knock-off.

The device so far is working great. It's fast and the screen size is comfortable to work with. When I was using my Nexus 5, I didn't get a very good signal bar at home, the notes 4 seems to have better reception. But playing videos appears to be a bit slower than my old phone. Sometimes they would pause for a second or 2 to catch up using the same network that i have at home and work.

For the price, it doesn't get much better than this. I bought this phone for my wife as she is a delivery driver and her old phone was not cutting it anymore. I personally have a Note 5 and am AMAZED by how well this holds up compare to it. If you are looking for a "budget" unlocked phone, THIS IS THE ONE

Phone is fully operational. But there is a catch, note 4 with this model number wont be able to update adroid 4.4.4. You will be stuck with android 4.4.4. I tried everything went to besy buy, called samsung cuctomer service. None of them was able to help with the issue. They just sent you to eachother...! I definitely dont recommend it.

Since no Note 7, Best Buy tracked down a Note 4. It was supposed to work with my carrier (it was the right type CDMA) but they couldn't figure it out. Very disappointed. Had to return phone and get something I didn't really want.

Alright, I know I should comment on Best Buy's shipping services, but when I ordered 2 Day Air Shipping, it took them more than two business days to even acknowledge the order and it took several more to even get to me. Luckily I was refunded a good portion of money for my trouble. Now getting to the actual review: The phone itself is great, but it took an entire afternoon of frustration to get it activated. While it is indeed an unlocked phone as it says, for some odd reason, after taking it to AT&T, the lady I worked with couldn't get it to connect to my data. I probably spent over three hours alone in the AT&T store today alone just before she finally gave up and sent me over to best buy to talk to the Samsung tech representative. Thankfully Best Buy was only a bit further down the street. So after about 45 minutes of dealing with him and me answering questions confirming it was an unlocked phone and all that jazz, he simply copied his settings over. He figured it wasn't really the phone's problem to begin, but instead AT&Ts. So after he did that, guess what -- IT CONNECTED TO DATA. I was worried I would have to send it back. I think the people at AT&T didn't know what they were doing or they didn't really want to help because I didn't buy the phone directly from them. If you are lucky, you will have a resourceful tech help you activate the phone and get it going for you if you are going through AT&T. If you are going through T-Mobile then you probably won't have a problem at all because it was originally a T-Mobile phone to begin with. Overall, I have to say that I am satisfied with the phone. It works great and does everything I want it to do. Definitely an upgrade coming from a Nokia Lumia 830 (Windows OS). I am glad that the tech at Best Buy could figure out the situation with my data or else I would have had to to go back to my Windows Phone or settle for something much less.
