I pre-ordered the Note 8 to get it the day it came out. There was quite a delay but it was well worth the wait. I upgraded from an S5 and haven't even really tapped in to what the Note 8 can do yet! I have to say that the Best Buy employees, especially Weston, at the store at SW 3rd next to I-40, were very gracious and understanding and the customer service was excellent. Even when I was perturbed at the delay(due ONLY to the carrier's fault in shipping), not once was anyone rude and I was always helped out to the best of their ability. Can't wait to see what all this Note 8 can do and the memories it will help capture!

Best Phone I have Owned So Far

This phone has a crystal clear display and is very snappy even when multi-tasking. You can't beat the onboard memory and being able to put in a 200gb+ micro sd card in it. The camera takes great pictures and videos. The picture taking is fast even snapping a picture of moving objects. I've taken pictures of my wife and sons on rides and they are pretty clear. The battery life is one of the best I've experienced. It also charges fairly quickly. Sound quality of phone calls is great. Easily connects with bluetooth devices. All in all this is the best phone that I have owned.

    The Best Note!

I've had the Note 2 and 5, but the Note 8 is the best ever! The Samsung Free Wireless Charger/SD Card Promotion, Best Buy's Pre-Sale $150 off, and Verizon's Trade in promotion made it very enticing to upgrade! In addition, I was able to use Best Buy Points to pay down the phone to lower my monthly payments even further! Some of the features I love are the curved screen with shortcuts on the curve, split screen feature and taller screen size. The battery stays charged much longer than my Note 5. Its also faster, lighter and easier to hold. The face recognition makes it easy to unlock it. It charges quicker. They included an adapter, so I can still use my mini USB charger. I'm definitely pleased with this purchase!!

The camera is amazing, screen is amazing, processor and performance are amazing. Love the big screen size. Flawless when watching videos. If you're wondering whether or not to pick it up, go and get it. Best Buy also offers the best discounts on it, surprising for a top quality flagship so soon after its release.

I finally got to the point where I wanted to be able to do everything with my phone so I decided to spend the money on this one. It was the S Pen that got me to go with the Note 8. I have been very happy with this phone. It has great battery life. The screen is big and the picture is great. It offers plenty of memory but I added an SD card for music and photos. I love that I can use my phone as my credit card! Just tap and go. I would recommend this phone to anyone who wanted one device that does everything. I use it every day at work as my music player and battery life has never been an issue. I also play Pokemon go which is a battery killer but this phone handles it like a pro.

Have had it about 6 months. Really like this phone. Great screen. Camera takes awesome pics and love the optical zoom. The S-pen is nice I am not a power user for stylus. Processing power is what really puts this phone ahead. Never have any noticeable lags. Just goes. Size feels a little bigger but not really a lot bigger than my previous s7 edge. Feels pretty light actually. Until I put a clunky case on it. Waterproof is good peace of mind. Oh and screen is great. I do a lot if reading from my phone and the occasional Netflix show. Still has a headphone jack. Lots of on board memory and expandable memory. Fits tons of apps. Overall, very pleased.

The samsung Note 8 is the best phone I've owned. I had the Note 5 previously and thought that was pretty great. The 8 essentially upgrades everything from that device, the screen is fantastic, but I'm still not sold on the rounded edges, personally I would have rather they kept the traditional screen as in some apps/webpages the text or picture disappears or is warped off the edge. This is a minor complaint and 99% of the time isn't an issue. Great speed, expandable, waterproof, pen what else could you want?! I just hope they don't make the next one even longer as my pants pockets aren't deep enough.

The edge-to-edge display is stunning. The brightness and colors of the screen are incredible. The camera is amazing, and I love the s pen. It's incredibly accurate and easy to use. I use it all the time. Even the battery life is quite good. I know some people have complained about it not being the best or whatever, but it works for me. I wouldn't say I'm a power user, but I definitely use my phone more than the average person since I'm on it all the time for my work, and I always get home with plenty of life to spare. I was a little worried that the size would be off-putting, but I've had this phone for a week now, and I'm already used to it. Unlocking it with the fingerprint sensor on the back is comfortable and easy, and the facial recognition works fairly well, too. I'm still playing around with Bixby, and it's a little funky, but I'm finding it to be more and more accurate the more that I use it. I'm thinking that's Samsung's idea: to have it learn your phraseology, preferences, etc. It's the ultimate multitasker's tool. I love how I can be making notes and reading something else at the same time. Or editing a spreadsheet and using the calculator. I could go on and on about it...But do yourself a favor and get the Note 8!

    NOTE 5 MAJOR UPGRADE

This phone is a major upgrade for Note 5 users. Faster processor and more internal storage (64 gb) and beautiful display. You wont regret this upgrade. The only negative is that it seems that the screen would crack very easily if dropped on a hard surface, but this is easily solved with a quality case from Spigen or Caseology. Otterbox would also be a good choice. Really a beautiful phone with all apps easily accessed, with split screen. Also, the game center app is really useful to aggregate all games under one app. The only negative (It is very minor) would be the Bixby button on the left side of phone. You almost always touch it when picking up the phone. Annoying, but Samsung released an update to stop the short press of the button by going through Bixby settings. You can't map the button to other apps. However, it is useful to some people, just not me

I have an android tablet so I am not new to the android platform. Compared to this phone...or should I say phablet, my old tablet is a dog. The performance of the Note 8 is head and shoulders above anything I have ever used. I love the stylus and note capability. Everything is automated. Take out the stylus and it's ready to write a note. I can save them, organize them, draw pictures, post of Facebook or email so easily. The camera is terrific. My pictures are wonderful and I can post and email just as easily as I can a note. Everything is instant. I don't have to wait for anything. I really love this phone.

I had a great, functioning Note 5 and hadn't planned to upgrade given the price of the Note 8. However, Best Buy offered a great holiday special and I ended up getting the phone for nearly 1/2 off with trade-in. I'm happy I did. The battery life is great on this phone and it is very quick. I didn't think I would use the face recognition feature but have found it very convenient. The fingerprint functionality lacks though given the sensor is on the back in an awkward place. I would suggest if you have a Note 5, wait for the price of this to come down and it will then be worth the upgrade.

I'm an admitted diehard fan of the Note line, having had every model except the Note Edge. This last year while waiting to upgrade the S7 Edge I was forced to give my Note7 up for, I didn't realize just how much I had missed not just the stylus, but all the small ways Samsung makes their flagship model stand out. Beside their comparable non-Note model, the camera is brilliant, but the most striking difference is how much the slightly tweaked shape of the screen improves user AND viewer experience. If I didn't use Verizon, I would have sprung for the dual-SIM version in as heartbeat, but Samsung has confirmed none of the other models support the correct bands to be compatible. A beautiful beast - phone, tablet, or phablet, phabulous.

I like this phone a lot. It's a lot faster than my 3 year old Note 4 - as it should be. I like Bixby, and the OS is much improved. I love the Iris scan, which works for me in light and dark. It's a great solution for me because I ride a motorcycle, so fingerprint scanners and facial scanners don't work when you are geared up with gloves and a helmet. Android has some cool features now like associating with locations and devices so the phone can remain unlocked. the camera is good, though the 'Live Focus' feature is nothing more than a gimmick. The one thing I DISLIKE about this phone is the curved screen. It reduced the typing area and makes Swype less accurate. I also find the curve generates 'no touch' scenarios.' The bigger issue is that cases are hard to find and tempered glass screen protectors simply do not work with the curved edges. This is a 6 stars out of 5 (yes, I know that is more than 5) IF Samsung ditches the stupid curved edges. Right now, it's only a 3-4 and that is only because of the curved edge. Dumb idea. Nonetheless I recommend.

I bought the note about 2 weeks ago. I have always been an avid tech enthusiast and have always seemed to find flaws in all the cell phones that I have ever purchased. I can honestly say that I cannot find a single issue wit the Note 8. The note is amazing. The battery life will easily last all day, even with heavy use. I normally end the day with about 40 percent battery left, and that is with about 3.5 to 4 hours "screen on" time. If your looking for a phone that works and has a ton of options on it with a great camera and great battery life, this is the one for you.

This Note is probably the best out of all notes I had in the past. The number one feature on this phone for me is battery life. The battery life on this phone is crazy. I can get almost two days of use without charging on light use. I'm coming back to note after switching to the Iphone 7 plus last year. And I actually kept my iphone 7 plus and the phone barely last a day. I took em both to work and the iphone even on low power comsumption mode still is on around 20% when I get home. My wife brought the iphone X and she says she has the same issues. The S pen is awesome and accurate. The phone is a beast. Of course there are feature I like on both Iphone and note 8, But the pen and battery life closes the gap.

I got this phone for my husband as a surprise on launch day. He loves this phone. His battery lasts him all day, and that's saying a lot because he is a mechanic and streams pandora literally 8 hours a day 5 days a week. It does take a little while to charge but it will even tell you how long u til it has a full charge. It takes AMAZING pictures. It's light weight. I myself am an iPhone girl but I would consider jumping ship for this one honestly. It's a lot easier to navigate this phone than his previous Note that he did have.

I love my new Samsung Note 8. I had the Note 5 and really liked that phone as well. To be honest, I don't use the note writing capabilities, I like the phone for all of the other features. I like a larger phone, I like the edge to edge screen, picture quality is great. The only negative thing I have found so far is there is not a good screen protector to fit the edge to edge design . I have purchased 2 of them, the first 1 was too thick so I had to press too hard and the second one didn't fit tightly across the screen so I had to press hard on the screen. Now I don't have a screen protector and that makes me nervous.Other than that, the phone is superior!!
