I have had multiple cell phones since 2001, from Nokia, Sony Ericcson, Apple and Samsung. My last 3 cellphones have been the Samsung Galaxy S3, S6 and now the Note 8. This Note 8 is amazing. The clarity of it's large screen is incredible. Every time I watch a video I am amazed of how good it makes everything look, even old videos.There are no freezing/ hardware/ software issues whatsoever. I currently have a 128Gb micro sd card in it and am looking forward to a 400Gb one as soon as this one fills up. I did fill up my 128gb Galaxy S6 twice. I am an avid cellphone picture taker. I use Google photos to backup and empty the phone but like to keep a lot of the pictures on it as well. The Note 8 is undoubtedly fast, light, multitasking friendly and that's not even getting into the S-pen. I have had it since the week before Black Friday when Best Buy had it for either $300 or $350 off instantly and I pay a little less than when I had my Galaxy S6. Awesome phone at an awesome price!

I had an LG G6 that broke. Fortunately I had the Best Buy warranty and decided to upgrade and get the Note 8. The screen, the S-pen, and the speed of the phone was great. The speaker nor the battery life wasn't anything to write home about (then again, who has a good built in speaker now anyway?). I have descent size hands so the size of the larger screen was not an issue. Couldn't do anything one handed but that's fine as I prefer two hands anyway. The animated GIFs were something me and my daughter had a lot of fun with. After a week and a half I thought to myself "this is a really nice phone and technically far superior to the G6, but is it worth the $480 price differential?" At the end of the day, I decided it wasn't and went back to the G6. If Best Buy and Verizon have a similar deal this Black Friday as they did last I'll switch back to the Note 8 but for now I'll sit back and wait. Would I recommend the Note 8? Absolutely, but it was just a personal decision to do the return.

I love my phone. The battery could last all day if it wanted to. I HATE the Bixby button. The pictures are phenomenal! My friends always ask to use my phone to take our pictures. Perfect size, even though my hands cramp when I hold it weirdly for long periods of time when I'm lying in bed. Expandable memory is perfect for my 15,000+ mp3 files. 8 different ways to lock/unlock your phone. S-Pen is a bonus. Wish it had stereo front facing speakers and the headphone jack at the top of the phone...

Upgraded from the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and am pleased with my purchase. My Note 4 was a great phone as well, but it was chewing through batteries and running hot so I decided to upgrade. The obvious upgrades are the bigger screen, more RAM and storage memory, much better camera and water resistance. Where I was getting about 14 hours or battery life from a full charge with a new battery on my Note 4, I'm getting about 36 hours of battery life with the same usage. I thought the always on screen display would actually chew up my battery life, but thus far it has run very quick and efficient and the charging produces no heat and quick charge works. Highly recommend this phone for those looking for a big screen and multi-tasking capability.

I've had this phone for a month now. No troubles at all. The phone is very fast, and does all that Samsung says it will do. The battery life is good, the screen resolution is awesome, the The Pen is flawless. I like the fact that there are a lot of accessories for this phone.I would say that this is the best phone that Samsung has thus far.

Had The note 7, Loved it and was sad to have to give it back. Once the note 8 was announced, I had to have it. I've been more than pleased with the quality and performance of this device. As a power user, the Battery lats me a full day without even having to use battery saving mode. Feature packed, S-Pen, OLED screen! just wow!... best phone display there is. and you can only get this color at best buy! A+++

Upgraded from a Galaxy S7 and I love the Note 8. Big upgrade in battery life and it's very fast. Takes a little getting used to the extra size, but I'm definitely a fan of some of the new features and the S pen, although I don't use it every day, is really cool.

Ive always eanted a Samsung Note. I was so happy when Best Buy ran a sale before Black Friday. Great price on an awesome phone. It comes with a stylus that stores in the phone which is so convenient for me who struggles with texting on these keyboards. It has so many features that I am still trying to figure out. Love this phone but also love Best Buy because I gave always found great deals there.

I had the S8+ but I upgraded to this after messing with one that my friend had. The size is perfect, runs super smooth, camera is up there with the best, and the stylus has more utility than ever before

The Galaxy note 8 is an amazing phone. It's battery life is one of the perks of this phone. The one big perk is also the s-pen. It's so versatile and helpful in all ways! The screen isn't anything to blink at either! It's a beautiful AMOLED display that is 18.5:9 aspect ratio! It's perfect for multi window viewing!

Love this phone. Function is similar to previous Samsung devices. Just does everything faster and better. Excellent pre-Christmas deals as well. Research reviews said the iPhone was better, but then said the Samsung out performed it in the vast majority of categories. Android vs iPhones boil down to your personal preferences. I looked at both, and went with the Note 8. Great choice for my use!

I have had the Galaxy Note 8 for a few weeks now, and it is as good as it gets. Great screen, everything loads fast, fantastic camera, and the S pen is more useful than I thought it would be. And to top it off, the memory is expandable with a micro SD card.

Camera is great. Not the best but it's great. The note 8 is fast. Its interface is easy. It's got a slick design. I love how slim it is. This is my fav note so far. However I am upgrading to the note 10 when it comes out.

I took the plunge and decided that I would upgrade to the Note8 instead of the apple 8+. I was dedicated to my decision and was going to stick it out for the first year and see it through. Then 10 days in I couldn't handle it any more. There were things that the iphone did that the note8 didn't or maybe I couldn't get it figured out. I have nothing against the phone, the screen is amazing, the camera is top notch. It does feel cheap in the casing, the round edge was a negative, I couldn't get the glass screen protector because it would bubble in the middle of the screen and that lessened the touch sensitivity. Overall I can't dog the phone. Apple is just my preference.

We bought these phones on sale at best buy mobile and the service was great. As far as this phone goes, it is super fast and has an awesome display. At first I thought the screen would be to big for one hand but was pleasantly surprised that it was not, but is great for multi taking and videos and movies. I would recommend this phone and best buys service to anyone.

Love the size because phone is narrow enough to hold. Screen unbelievably clear and bright. Love the stylus and everything about it! Great battery life and fast wireless charging. Great camera. I can't find any faults after weeks of use!
