You buy this for ten bucks, you get to try on one of 9 different sized rings, buy the correct size Galaxy ring, and get a credit for ten dollars off the price of the ring. There's a paper showing you how to fit the ring and a QR code that takes you to a video with more info. It eliminates the guesswork and the dummy rings are basically exactly like the actual Galaxy Ring, minus any of the technology. So the fit should be about as precise of a match as they can likely get it. And this is especially good considering if you are used to wearing a ring as jewelry and know what size you need that does NOT mean that's what size Galaxy Ring you should get. These are different, a little chunkier, and obviously have sensors built into them. In my experience, I needed a larger size number Galaxy Ring than my wedding ring size, for example. Because of this I absolutely would not recommend skipping out on the sizing kit part of the buying process. And Samsung put some care into the packaging and presentation, too. The Galaxy Ring itself is not cheap, so it's nice to see here that they didn't just slap some dummy rings in a plastic bag and call it a day. Again, it's clever and elegant how they've done this. My only nit-pick is that it also kind of feels like a needless waste of plastic. I imagine these are recyclable - I probably should look at the fine print on the box or in the documentation. But I wish they just included a prepaid info so you could send the kit right back to them once you're done with it. I suppose they perhaps want you to keep it in the event you show your ring to someone who then wants one themselves and you can let them borrow the sizing kit. Other than that... it seems like a product designed to end up in a lot of landfills, which is a shame. So, I'd like to see them do better (or be more apparent if it is recyclable) in the future. Otherwise, yeah - if you want a Ring, get this first.

It is a must to better understand the ring size. Because smart rings are not like regular rings, they will let you try which size is more comfortable.

I was expecting to get a set of plastic cheap rings to help with sizing when you decide to purchase the Samsung Ring. These things were pretty nice quality. And made of metal like a real ring. Job well done. I wore 2 of one hand for 24 hours as instructed. Couldnt decide on which finger. I guess the real ring wount come in larger sizes. I could not fit the largest, size 13 i believe on my index or middle fingers.

i got this for my son who want the galaxy ring but didn't know his size. This kit made it easy and it comes with a $10 BB gift card so if you are planing to buy the ring, it's basically free (minus sales tax). The size that my son first landed on ended up being too tight as our fingers tend to expand a little throughout the day. It's best to try on the ring that fits you best and keep it on for a few days to see how that size works for you.

If you're considering getting the real thing, this kit is necessary. I've found that due to the thickness of the sensors, you'll probably want to pick a ring size 1 larger then what would typically fit your finger. The $10 amazon promotion is great as well.
