I purchased the Galaxy S 4 mini for my Dad's birthday. He LOVES it. He has finally entered the 21st century's world of communication. Uses it every night to spot incoming air traffic with FlightRadar and to identify stars and constellations with Star Walk, too! Made our day! Made his year!

After good years with this phone, and a few network upgrades in T-Mobile, this phone finally became incompatible with the network. Apparently that happens. No fault of this phone, Samsung tells me. No fault of T-Mobile either. No point in getting old models, even if unlocked it seems.

Is a Samsung Galaxy so you know is a good phone. And this version is smaller than then the regular, so for me works perfectly for I like small phones not tablet like phones

Great camera and worth the battery life! And a big screen!!

Positives - Nice appearance, intuitive interface, easy to navigate. Negatives - battery runs out in 1.5 hours of talk time. Trouble with leaving Wi-Fi and Mobile data on at the same time. Gyroscope has issues - the instrument switches over from vertical to horizontal display of it's own accord.

I have had this phone for about a month now and can not find anything so far that I do not like about it.

The phone is fine with features and would be a good value. However, it is not compatible with T-Mobile's network and does not receive internet data. When I bought the phone, the store's "unlocked cell phone expert" assured me it was fully compatible with T-Mobile. I took it to T-Mobile store where they fitted it with a new SIMM card and tested the calling function with no problem. I then handed it over to my spouse as an emergency replacement for a failed LG phone. Calling and texting seemed to work fine. Since we seldom use data on our phones, he didn't report any problem with data reception. We discovered the problem about 18 days after purchase while on vacation when neither data nor calling worked via roaming on AT&T's network. I assumed I'd exchange the phone for something compatible later Upon our return, I read the receipt and saw that there was a 14-day window for returns and exchanges. We're stuck with a brick.

Easy to navigate. User friendly. New and improved features over Galaxy S3. Rock solid.

This phone is a very compact phone with very good features but is not my favorite, is a great cheaper phone.

For the price I am paying for, I felt that this phone should have had more features and more worth for your buck. There are no issues with the phone, it is just not worth the price I am paying. Try looking for other phones like Xiaomi.
