Great phone. A good size bigger than my s9 but good quality. I (thankfully) haven't dropped it. I suppose that will be the big test. Great colors are easy to use if you are a previous Samsung owner. Outstanding camera. Took our Christmas picture with it. Excellent color and resolution. By the way, I obviously purchased it at Best Buy, they are phenomenal by the way. But because of Co-vid 19, no one wants to stand around and have their data transferred. If you haven't already use the Samsung App (Samsung smart Switch). You can view it on Youtube. It transferred all my apps photos etc., lickity split and it took a third of the time may be less it was fast. Remember I was going from a galaxy s9 to the s20 FE but still, it was crazy fast and all but 3 of my apps transferred and they weren't apps I was even currently using.

I got this for my 72 year old father on my Sprint account. As his previous phone was a way out of date galaxy S6. For the lower price this phone has alot of great features packed in. The 5G speeds are great in my neck of the woods. Where my dad lives its even better.
This blows his old S6 out of the water. The fingerprint reader is a nice addition As well as the flat screen. The camera takes great looking photos, with many extra options and editing features built in. The phone is super fast and speeds through any app or game without hiccup. All around a great phone, I like even more this was free when I added a new line for my dad!

Ive never written a review anywhere but felt this one is necessary. This is the best phone I have ever had but the battery life is terrible. I decided to keep the phone because I love it and can live with having to charge it twice, once overnight and then at least once more about halfway through the day.
Processor is amazing. 5G gets me service in places that I frequent where I could never get 1 bar. Shocked me when I saw that I had service in those places. Smooth phone. Ive played call of duty in parking lots while waiting for family and there is no lag whatsoever. Between the processor and 5G connectivity, it has left me star struck.
In-store the camera looked the same quality as my Motorola Z4. Once home, I realized it blows my Z4 out of the water. Pictures are crisp and video is amazing. I was at a kids birthday party last night (masks were worn) and my pictures/videos were better than the iPhone 11 the host was using so I was deemed the photographer when it came time to cake cutting.
I bought the phone the day it came out and Bestbuy had no screen protectors or cases in stock. They put up two cases for this phone on the website the next morning but they were listed as sold out so Im guessing they are waiting to receive the initial stock. Still listed as sold out on the website. On Amazon, offbrand companies put that cases would be in stock on October 12, today, 10 days after I got the phone. I decided to go with Sñigen who on amazon says they wont be in stock until October 22nd. Poor planning between Samsung and case manufacturers? Sidenote, not one scratch on the plastic back, feels nice in the hand. Glass backs are overrated and exaggerate phones value.
Battery is bad. I didnt get a defective battery, I looked up reviews and there are many reviews on amazon and samsungs website that match my experience. The first experience that others had and I noticed is how quickly the battery drains when initially setting up the phone. Installing all the apps makes the phone hot and the battery chugs, not sips. Others described the experience the exact same way. Installing apps on wifi shouldn't drain 30% in an hour but it is good foreshadowing to battery life.
It is a smart phone so over time it adapts to maximize battery efficiency by analyzing how one uses the phone. I played call of duty the first two days to test out the processor and picture quality. Phone would get super hot after playing half an hour. Now I can play for an hour and it gets mildly hot. Cool to see it adapt even if I dont understand how. The battery still loses 8-10% charge overnight while idling.
I have screenshots I was going to include but decided not to. This morning at 6:37am I woke up and scrolled through Facebook. Battery started at 100% as I left it charging overnight. I then read news on google and lastly applied for jobs on Indeed.com. by 9:58 am the battery was at 52%.
Look up on google reviews for the battery life for not only the S20 FE but also the S20. I'm no phone analyst but this phone has 6GB Ram yet it always has 3 ram in use when all programs are closed out. Maybe this constant use of background programs is what keeps it smooth?
Last note, other than online reviews, my friend got this phone two days ago. He confirmed the loss of battery while idling overnight, confirmed its very hot and chugs battery the first few days, confirmed his S20 FE has 3GB of Ram in constant use even when everything is closed out, and confirmed that the battery does not last all day or even half the day as a 4500 sized battery should.
Heres hoping this review is confirmed by others and leads to a software update that fixes battery life
P.S. I did try changing the screen refresh from 120ghz to 60, turning off background updates for apps, and changing the power mode to optimize battery life and limit data usage for apps not on the foreground

I really like this phone. I actually prefer the plastic backing to the glass (you can't even tell especially if you have a case on). The size is nice and the camera is amazing. I upgraded from a Galaxy S9+ and the screen size was the same but I like the flat screen rather than the curved edges of the 9. It took some getting used to the power button. It also doesn't have a jack for ear buds which would be nice but most of them are bluetooth now anyways.

I got this phone on sale for 400, so this review may be a tad biased, its a good phone overall though. I came from a original iPhone se, so it was a huge upgrade, and a bit different switching the is. The android ui is easy to use and pretty intuitive, everything easy to find. This phone is basically a cheaper s20, you lose some stuff, but I don't think its something the average person would care about, how many people even want a glass back anyways? And by the way the 5g is awesome coming from 3g. Although, since I got this phone for 400 I got it for a "budget" price, which I needed. If you need a budget phone price I'd say get a pixel 4a if this phone isn't on sale.

I am 100% satisfied with this phone. I had read reviews, prior to buying it, and saw some were not satisfied with the battery. I have had no problems and find that the battery lasts me all day and only charge it when sleeping. I am not a tech savvy person and this phone was easy to figure out and was even able to transfer items from my old phone to the new phone. I am still figuring out all of what the camera does, but so far I am pleased with photo's I have taken thus far. The price was excellent with the sale and paid for it outright. I would recommend this phone.

This phone is beautiful. It has everything I need in a phone for a much more cheaper price. Lots of storage, great battery, the sound is awesome and the camera is wonderful. Even though this phone is much smaller then the S20 Ultra I did go from a galaxy s7 edge to this 6.5 phone so i feels much more bigger. I do have to get use it so I bought a rubber phone so I can get a good grip. But I still recommend this phone. one more thing, the camera on the back of the phone does stick out so I bought a camera protector to make sure the camera doesn't sketch.

Great Phone! My wife keeps telling me to get an iPhone like hers. No Way! This is a great phone. The camera is far superior to the iPhone with tons of memory. Never glitches. Never an issue. Crystal clear screen and the battery has never expired, never, despite all the apps running and video calls.

The S20 FE is working well. The screen is very clear (and big) and the cameras produce chart photos. I'm still getting used to the larger size (vs. my old S6) but the extra real estate on the screen is nice so more apps icons fit on each.
The price was the main differentiator vs the other S20 Galaxies, $100s less, and overall I'm very pleased with the S20 FE

Love my new Samsung S20 FE. Easy to use, good connectivity & seems much faster than my LG. The screen is bigger than expected which is a plus for me. The plastic back is good, doesn't look cheap. The battery doesn't last long when you use it heavily but charges very quickly unlike other phones I have had. I would definitely recommend the Samsung S20 FE 5G.

Fast, plenty of memory, great screen - flagship specs for hundreds of dollars less. I don't mind the plastic body - I use a case anyway. If I have a complaint (and it's a mild one) photos that contain blue (sky, water, etc.) tend to get very blue. The camera could be a little more true-to-life. But otherwise, for $500, this phone can't be beat.

First off, I am so sick of these $2,000 flag ship devices. I just can't justify it. Second, if THIS is what is considered a budget phone ($500 range), I welcome it with open arms. This device is great, has most of the bells and whistles of the S20 line up and cuts back on some areas that really arent missed. Two major things that will make someone look elsewhere is the plastic back and the 1080p screen. But I don't know anyone who doesnt put a skin or a case on their devices now so does it really matter what the back is made of if its just going to be covered? I think not. Personally I put a skin on the back and never think about it being plastic under there. Lets talk about that 1080p screen. did I mention that it is 120hz? On the other s20 devices the refresh rate is variable when putting it to the 2k resolution. I am in the camp that a 1080p on a 6 inch screen is more than enough. But with the case of the s20 fe you are getting a 1080p screen with with 120hz all the time.
I think Samsung cut all the right corners and this is a solid "budget" device. Can't go wrong with this one, also did I mention that this phone was free with an add a line? Free phones are coming back folks!!

After lots of research I decided on the FE vs regular S20 (for a lot more money) as the difference was minimal. The one difference I noticed was the screen is not curved like prior galaxy phones, not sure if that is a bad thing. So far this phone has leaps and bounds better than my Note 8.

The phone arrive quickly and was easy to connect to my existing Sprint account. As with any transition from one brand to another (came from an LG 6) there were a few subtleties to learn. But all the apps transferred from old to new with little effort.
This phone was selected for the large memory along with the memory expansion on microSD. It was also a step up to 5G which has only been available few times in the area where we live.
The increase in screen size was noticeable and works better for the fat-fingered typist.

Upgraded to this from an LG G3. The difference between the two is hilarious. This phone is super fast and responsive. It has run every App I've tried so far with no issues; easy to set up as well. Would recommend, especially if you haven't upgraded in a while.

Clear bright screen, better battery life. Very good camera. Slightly larger than the galaxy 10 it replaced...still a handy siaze for palm or pocket.
