I bought this phone to upgrade my wife's old phone. She is accident prone and I'm too cheap to buy an insurance plan. Within a week of owning it, the phone took a 4 ft. face plant onto my kitchen ceramic floor. No damage whatsoever. I'm waiting for a water accident to update this review. Regarding the phone performance itself, it's another great Samsung phone.

I love the blue camo color. The phone itself is great, it's waterproof, dustproof, and with it having real buttons and a rugged case makes it perfect for active people, or klutzes.

I have never had a Samsung Galaxy S6 (non active), though I have had an S3 before upgrading. This upgrade was worth it. The active is rugged and resistant to wear and tear. The phone itself is great, which is to be expected from a Galaxy. :) I would recommend this phone if you love other Galaxy phones and live an active lifestyle.

The phone is awesome and the camera works great too. Being water proof is a plus also.

I so love this phone and all of its features and preloaded apps. I'm still exploring and am loving more and more. Images look great, pics come out good and many editing options, and I love the health app that can check heart rate, o2 and stress readings and track my steps and other activities. Super cool, all in one device!

Great camera and very long lasting phone. It has fallen and nothing has happened to it. Very user friendly for people who are not really into technology.

I was an iPhone user and enthusiast for years before my husband convinced me to switch over to Samsung and let me tell you, ever since the S4, Samsung does not disappoint. The S6 Active is everything a hiker, adventurer, spelunker, and nature enthusiast needs right at the fingertips. Man, I love this phone.

I can't say enough good things about this phone. Everything just works exactly how you want it to. Whether it be the processing speed or the graphics this is hands doewn one of the best phones out there, especially of you are accident prone, or you drop this in the water. It will still be there for you.

Had issues with the first one and had to return for another within a week. Apps kept crashing and voice text box wouldn't go away unless I rebooted. After the switch to another new device and new Sim card, those problems seem to be gone. Snapchat, however, hasn't worked on either Samsung devices I was given. The camera on the other hand is definitely better than the iPhone however, the battery life that should be longer I don't see a real difference. I am still getting used to the Android device but I don't see a major difference other than the camera between the iPhone and the Samsung. I think I may just switch back to iPhone because I use snapchat a lot and this particular phone doesn't seem to work with it. Also the loss of face time has had a big impact as Google Hangouts and Skype just aren't as reliable.

Want a Galaxy S6 but I decided to go with this one due to larger battery capacity and waterproof feature. I'm totally happy with the S6 Active after one week using. Basically you got all the S6 feature in a rough, 3300 mAh battery phone...

I used an I-phone prior to getting this phone as I was a bit intimidated with the thought of going from an I-Phone to a Apple program but my kids all have a Samsung phone and love it so I gave it a shot and i am not disappointed. I still don't know all the ins and outs but enough to maneuver through and use without many issues. Pictures are great as well.

I love this phone! I wanted something that had great specs and was also very tough and this is exactly what I needed! It handles drops and falls and has a great water resistance. And the specs are actually better in a lot of ways than the s6 or note 5. Couldn't have been happier!

This phone has good battery life. I have no complaints. Recently upgraded from Galaxy mega. I phone is works well with my smart watch and the phone quality is great
