So far, that is a complete lie. The minute my pet left my house, it could no longer track this smart tag. I'm sure it works fine if you tend to lose things in your house but as for finding something outside of its range just forget about it. All information I have read says you can find this smart tag no matter how far away it is. Mine is in my neighborhood and it can't find it. This was an absolute waste of money and I would never recommend this to anyone.

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Even if you use SmartThings/Have a Samsung SmartThings Hub -- you can't use this device at all unless you have a Samsung Galaxy phone. Tried to pair it with a Pixel and it just errors out immediately. I figured some of the location features would be unavailable to non-samsung phone users but I mainly wanted it for the SmartThings automation button... Turns out it's completely useless for the rest of us.
