Great, great location tag!!!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Tags work like a charm, if they get wet you can just replace the battery by opening it up and putting a new 2032 coin battery in it and they start working again! So far I've had them for about a year and I have no complaints. Once I upgrade to the 23 ultra this next year I will probably try out the tag pluses since they have an extended range. But since I was not planning to make that upgrade for a couple years it was worth saving the $10 since I don't have a Samsung 21 or newer phone or iPhone that supports it. It is also worth getting a a silicone cover or whatever cover you have available to you or using some sort of vinyl to protect it just to keep it from getting scratched up and everyday wear and tear especially if you keep it in your pocket like I tend to do.

Good job!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Cute looking and small enough. Does what it is supposed to do. I was a bit concerned about not enough Galaxy users nearby for offline finding, but I have tested out in my city; it works great everytime, because there are a lot of Galaxy users nearby with Smartthings Find Network. Very nifty and cool tech. Great gifts idea for your Galaxy friends and family too.

I'll never misplace my keys again.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got 2 of these. I keep 1 of them on my primary keys and I keep 1 of them on my secondary keys. I have used my phone to find my primary keys 3 times in the last 6 weeks of so Ive had them. My other keys I keep attached to my backpack so I can keep track of that as well. I'll probably get another one to attach to my jacket since I lose that in the house all the time as well. I throughly love this thing. I can't speak to how well the battery lasts but I plan to replace it once a year when I chance the battery in my car fobs.

Good locator for Samsung users.
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's essentially a tile, but is optimized for Samsung devices. It works great, but still relies on bluetooth. AirTags and the SmartTag+ have a huge advantage when utilizing ultra wide band technology. I would only recommend this device to Samsung device owners with phones that do not utilize ultra wide band. I would recommend AirTags for Apple device users and Tile for everyone else.

Q: QuestionCan it be set to notify when it goes Beyond a certain range?
Asked by Garyd.
- A:Answer No geo fencing. If you attach it to your dog and he goes out for a walk away from you and doesn’t have his own Samsung Galaxy phone, he won’t show up on the location map until he gets close to anyone with a Samsung Galaxy phone.

Q: QuestionCan it be used to replace the current Smartthings Arrival Sensor to trigger automations within the Smartthings system?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer No. After linking the Smart Tag to your Samsung account, it shows in your Smart Things app, but it really isn’t part of Smart Things. It can’t function as an arrival sensor or be used in automations. It does seem to be a better tracker than Tile, though. Limitation is you must have a Samsung Galaxy phone to attach it to your Samsung account and view it on the Smart Things app on your phone, not on iPad. Also “lost” tag will only update location when near a Samsung Galaxy phone.

Q: QuestionWhats the Battery Life in this thing? and what size battery does it take? can the battery be replace?
Asked by danny.
- A:Answer Hi Daniel! Thank you for reaching out to us. We appreciate your interest in knowing the battery life and size of the Galaxy SmartTag. To answer your question, SmartTag uses a CR2032 battery, a small lithium battery shaped like a coin. It’s the same kind of battery that is usually used in wristwatches. In other words, you don’t need to charge it. Depending on your usage and other factors, CR2032 batteries can last about a year, so you won’t have to worry about replacing them for a while. Q: QuestionIf I put it in my car, how far away can it be to find my vehicle?
Asked by Pat.
- A:Answer There's a video on Youtube of two Australian guys comparing this tracker to a Apple airtag and an actual vehicle GPS tracker. Might be worth a look. You can be pretty far away, however, it will require you be in an area where there is cell service.
