The screen brightens and dims intermittently any time I use it. The battery barely lasts 2 days not using it. I read plenty of reviews praising the battery life but that is certainly not the case with mine. Ive had several Galaxy tablets over the years and this is by far at the bottom of the list. The others were 100% better.But age and battery issues forced me to upgrade. Unfortunately my new purchase was not an upgrade , but an inferior replacement

Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on our products for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. The Adaptive Brightness feature automatically adjusts the screen's brightness based on ambient light. To prevent this, you can disable Adaptive Brightness and manually adjust the brightness level in the settings. Please take a look at, "Apps are draining battery on Galaxy phone or tablet," "Galaxy Battery - Optimization," and "Get the most out of your Galaxy phone or tablet battery" when you have the available time to learn some helpful information about optimizing your battery life.
