I have only had this tablet for a week, but I already love it. The camera has 3 different modes and the pen helps keep the screen clean. Awesome!

Tablet is well constructed but lacks updated software and needs more memory. Item is heavy to tote around compared to other tablets and it is way to slow while browsing internet. Good for a beginner or outside use. Go with the tab s2 well worth it.

The best feature of this tablet is the sturdy case it comes with. This is the only tablet my husband has not been able to break or crack!

OS is great the weight is hard for me to hold, usually use it in bed. would have gone a size smaller, but am very happy with purchase.

Bday gift for my 8 yo. She uses it for streaming youtube, Netflix and loves it for game apps! Great quality, built in case is key!

it does everything I need it to. from just watching YouTube or doing some business emails. great tablet for the money.

The resolution is really nice and protective case that came with it is not too bad. So far it's been working as expected.

This by tablet spec standards might not seem like a great tablet, and comparing it against other tablets even in the price range, you are right. But, as a "work" focused device, this excels over any other tablet in its range. Granted the built in case isn't going to beat an otterbox, but the tablet itself is waterproof, the display despite being 720p is brighter than your sub $500 tablet, works great with gloves unlike most in its class. The pen isn't "active" but it is a great way to use the tablet when outside in the elements.

Great tablet for the size. This tablet is excellent and great for teenagers to operate .

Quality product which fits my needs. Rugged cover provides good protection if used during active situations. Easy to use.

I love this tablet. The only thing that could be better is the sound is not that loud especially when trying to skype.

Definitely a sturdy tablet. C-pen is nothing like s-pen, merely a passive stylus like you can buy for any tablet.

I have purchased five Samsung tablets in the last few years because they work really well. My newest one is really good and I have been able to use all the apps that I want without any software glitches. I am very satisfied with the Samsung - Galaxy Tab Active 8 and predict that I will use it for a long time and then pass it on to a grandson so I can buy a new one.
