Best Samsung smart watch yet. I had Gearfit, Gearfit 2 Pro, and the Watch 3 prior to this.

Excellent battery life with normal use. Slightly lower if you have the heart rate monitor on constantly and or using it for tracking exercises during the day. Love it for notifications of phone calls text messages, and reminders. Give me the Peace of Mind knowing I'm not missing anything important. I love all the customization you can do with the faces and information. I love how I can monitor my water intake, steps, and weather. I make sure to never leave the house without it! And if I do I can set an alert on my phone that I'm missing my watch! One of the best features is find my phone. I don't know how many times I've used my watch to find my phone. On the flip side if I set my watch down, the phone has an option to ping my watch as well

    Best Smartwatch ever!!!

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 is a premium smartwatch that offers a wide range of features for both fitness enthusiasts and tech-savvy individuals. As someone who has been using this watch for several months, I can confidently say that it is one of the best smartwatches on the market today. One of the standout features of the Galaxy Watch 5 is its design. The watch is sleek and modern, with a rotating bezel that makes it easy to navigate through menus and apps. The 1.4-inch AMOLED display is vibrant and clear, making it easy to read notifications and messages. The watch comes in two sizes, 40mm, and 44mm, and both options are lightweight and comfortable to wear all day long. But the Galaxy Watch 5 isn't just a pretty face - it's packed with features that make it a versatile and useful tool. One of the most impressive features is its fitness tracking capabilities. The watch can track a wide range of activities, including running, cycling, swimming, and more. It also has a built-in GPS, so you can track your outdoor workouts without needing to bring your phone along. The watch also tracks your sleep patterns and offers personalized insights to help you get a better night's rest. Another standout feature is the watch's ability to make and receive calls and texts. With built-in LTE connectivity, you can leave your phone at home and still stay connected to the world around you. The watch also supports a wide range of apps, including popular options like Spotify, Uber, and Strava. One of the most impressive features of the Galaxy Watch 5 is its battery life. With normal usage, the watch can last up to two days on a single charge. And even when the battery is low, you can use the watch's power-saving mode to extend the battery life even further. One disadvantage of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 is its price. As a premium smartwatch, it comes with a higher price tag than some other options on the market. This may not be a major concern for those who are looking for a top-of-the-line smartwatch with all the bells and whistles, but it may be a barrier for those who are on a tight budget. However, the high price is often justified by the watch's quality and features, making it a worthwhile investment for many people. Overall, I would highly recommend the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 to anyone looking for a premium smartwatch that offers a wide range of features. From its sleek design to its impressive fitness tracking capabilities and long battery life, this watch is a true standout in the world of wearable technology.

Great watches for all ages, but seem to only work the best with all features with the Galaxy phones. Alot of great features to track health, calories, exercise, routines, and sleep as well as takes and places calls, texts, notifications, plus wallet or pay feature. Does NOT read glucose as one site stated, CGM is required for this. Could not even setup on my Motorola phone as it stated I needed a device with the Galaxy store app to complete initial setup of the watch. I now possess the S23. SMH... Also the biggest downfall is that the battery only lasts about a day.

The smartwatch offers impressive capabilities, including step tracking and phone synchronization. However, it is important to note that the battery life is limited, even after disabling certain features such as Bluetooth and wake-on shake.

It's a Samsung at a great price. The Samsung Watch 5 impresses with its sleek design, vibrant AMOLED display, and seamless integration with smartphones. Its comprehensive health tracking, including ECG and sleep monitoring, enhances wellness management. Swift performance, extended battery life, and a range of customizable features make it a top-notch smartwatch for modern lifestyles.

Thus far I love the watch. The color of the band is great, it charges quickly, and it does a great job of monitoring my fitness, health, and sleep. Sometimes it does feel like the battery drains quickly, but it hasn't been too much of an issue, especially since it charges so quickly. Samsung products continue to impress.

Love the watch so far! The battery is decent, but you can tell when I've been using it more (thats why minus 1 star). The best feature by far is the sleep tracking and coaching!

I purchased this watch primarily for the emergency fall alert feature - I normally have my mobile phone with me, but in the cases that I don't it would be good to be able to contact emergency services or my family in the case of an accident/fall. I use a Fitbit Charge 4 for fitness tracking, but the expanded features of this watch looked cool. After researching multiple smartwatches, I chose this one bc lots of tech articles said it would hold a charge for a week. Ha. I fully charged the watch before setting it up. I wore it for the day and was surprised to see it was down to 40% by night. I charged it before I went to bed and it was down to 60% when I woke up. I started disabling feature (gps, snore tracking, stress tracking, etc.) and it still drained down super fast. I googled solutions and found that after initial set up the battery would drain fast for a couple of days while updates and downloads were happening in the background - fine. I wore it for three weeks and continued to have to charge it at least twice a day to keep it above 40% throughout the day and night. Maybe I purchased a lemon and other Galaxies aren't this bad, but this was my experience. So I returned it and went back to my good ol' Fitbit Charge 4. Maybe one day there will be a smartwatch that isn't so bloody high maintenance but until then I'm sticking with this tracker that only has to be charged 1x a week. On the bright side, Best Buy has a super-long return policy and super-easy return process. I bought it online but returned it to the store and it was a matter of the manager scanning a bar code and *blip* my funds were back on my paypal. Thumbs-up, as always, to Best Buy.

It is a good gadget for quality and quantitative data , to keep track of activity and other health related KPIs. Overall I like it, thought for the price battery life is not that great. I checked on battery life over the weekend, took it of the charger around 9 am i the morning, watch had bluetooth/wifi turned off and was not on my wrist at all. around 8 PM checked the battery and was drained of more than 20% . and. it must be charged at the end of next day (by the evening)- not to forget during this 2 day period i did not wear this watch at night time.

This is my first Samsung smart watch that I have had in a long time. I have been a steadfast fitbit user. Making the switch to a smart-watch that is connected to my phone for more than messaging/steps is a really neat experience. I wish the watch came with band size options, it comes with a S/M band and I needed the M/L band which I have to purchase separately. I think if I am paying $$ for a watch I should be able to pick the band size at that point. So buying the purple band proved to be worthless since I had to find a band in my wrist size outside this packaged product. The battery life does leave a lot to be desired. If you have engaged a lot of the features of the watch it tends to die within a day or 2, compared to my 5-6 days with my former Fitbit. If I charge it at night, I lose out on sleep tracking, but if it dies during the day I get frustrated...so I am working out the timing on when I charge it.

Had a pretty easy setup. Over all comfort when wearing it. Display and using the watch is great. The battery runs down pretty quickly but other than that its been good. Its lte/ bluetooth. So if i accidentally leave my phone at home I am still able to get all notifaications, calls, and mesages wherever i am. It helps me keep up with my health, and fitness. Water resistant for small splashes.

I love my new watch! I already have a Galaxy phone & decided to try the watch. I love the size of the screen, that I can make & answer calls on the watch, can also send texts on it. I wish the battery lasted longer than 2 days but it charges really fast which I like. I upgraded from a Fitbit versa to this & so happy I did

It is amazing. Works really well with just about anything. Listen to music is great and can leave your phone just about anywhere. Answering call and being able to talk back it is very helpful since sometimes I can't feel my phone vibrate. It is also very easy to change the watch band. Also would definitely recommend as a gift for a friend or family member.

I absolutely love my Samsung Galaxy Watch5!!! Of course everyone thinks it is an Apple watch, but it is oh so much better. It looks great, it tracks my workouts, texts, emails, and it is my phone when I'm on my paddleboard and don't want to bring my cellphone with me. It is the best!
