I bought watch an invisible shield for it spent a nice amount for both. Came back a day or so later to get help to put shield on for me but was told it would it would cost me $7.99 to put it on. Left an haven't been back not sure if I will or not. I'm a senior an not real savvy on putting those on. I could see it if I hadn't bought the two items there, charging but I was your customer who just needed a little help. When I buy my cell phone they will but sheild on for me for free.

If you have a compatible smartphone this watch is for you! I researched the different fitbit watches as well as garmin watches and ended up choosing the Gear Fit. The Gear Fit is the best bang for your buck as you could say. It has GPS built in to track milage when running or walking, monitors your heartrate, is a pedometer that also works on a treadmill, allows you to read and quick respond to texts and reject phone calls, etc. I have received so many compliments on my watch when wearing it around town & at work.

    Great Smart Watch

I purchased this watch after reading countless reviews on others, trying to figure out which one was best for me. I'm not an avid runner, so I had no need for an expensive GPS system, but I still wanted a way to keep track of my steps and my fitness. I liked the idea of measuring my heart rate, but it wasn't necessary. This smart watch had everything I wanted and more. The step tracker is fairly accurate - it's not oversensitive (like some other ones that say you've taken steps while you've been driving), it's waterproof, it tracks your sleep pattern, it can measure your heart rate (though the accuracy of this is debatable), it charges quickly, and it's fairly stylish - it's not overwhelming on the wrist like other smart watches on the market. Also, it can hook up to your phone if you have the right type of phone. I've had mine for about a month now and I couldn't be more pleased. The setup was fairly easy - kind of a nuisance at first in all honesty because you may have to download an app to allow your phone to connect to it, but it was fine. You can customize the background on the watch with your phone, the waterproof ability is fantastic though I have not tried swimming with it yet, and the sleep tracking is kind of difficult to interpret - I just recently started using this feature though. I HIGHLY recommend this product if you want a simple smart watch/fitness tracker combination.

Love my Samsung watch. I am able to track everything. Notifications are wonderful, text, calls.. etc. I don't particularly like that there is not a work out option. Just cycle, run, walk... I work out and there is not an option to monitor this. I still get to track all steps through the day. Wish there were more bands for this watch to change and other layouts for the screen/clock. Overall is a good watch and chose it over the Fit bit Surge. Took that back after 2 days.

Love the Gear Fit. Works just as it described. Tracks my steps each day. Used the tracking sleep feature, but I am not sure how helpful that is to me. Optional app makes it possible to find my phone when I have misplaced it. Biggest down side is that my phone battery now drops about twice as fast as it did before.

I own a Samsung Galaxy S 5 and finally purchased the Gear Fit to accompany my phone. I purchased it to track my running activity and heart rate during workouts. The notifications were a bonus. I love reading my texts and previewing my emails on it. Also, seeing who is calling me when I'm in a different room than my phone is very convenient. I have small wrists and the watch does not overwhelm my look like other smartwatches on the market. I have had the band open a couple of times, usually when my arms are full or carrying an infant/toddler, so care is necessay not to lose it. I'm hoping that more stylish oem watch bands come out.The bright color options are just not for me, but from a feminine perspective plain black just doesn't go with every outfit.

I like my gear fit. It does a good job of tracking the steps but sometimes I feel like it doesn't get all the steps I take in a day. I also wish I could tell it when I'm exercising and have it track how many calories are burned during that workout. I really like the style of the watch and feel comfortable wearing it every day. I love the choices of background colors/patterns.

Accurate pedometer and exercise counters. Great for running, tracks distance and times well. Comfortable band that's adjustable. Really light weight, hardly notice you're wearing it. Quick replies are available to send so you can respond to text messages. This is especially nice if you are in the middle of a workout or not near your phone. Definitely recommend!

I bought the gear fit as opposed to the Gear 2 Neo because of the price and many of the features that were on the Neo I would not use. Turned out to be a great decision, just about everything about this product works great; step tracker., notifications, and heart rate monitor all work like a champ. Getting used to the horizontal view took some getting used to but after that was figured out, it has been working great. There has been one occasion that the Gear Fit did freeze up after receiving an update that required a hard boot. Now that wasn't that big of a deal but there was no warning on the watch that there was an update. Over all I would have to say this watch is a great purchase for the price.

I like that it shows texts and caller ID so I don't have to dig through my purse to respond right away. I wish I could text from the watch, but it does program quick responses which are helpful. I like that it keeps track of my steps so that I know when I should walk away from my desk while at work.

I'm 75% happy with this purchase. I find that I have to charge it at least every 24 hours. It is very touchy to choose items, i.e. sleep, pedometer, etc. When requested to use the Model Number and Serial Number on the Web Site S health I could not fine them and had to go to the store for help.My biggest complaint is that it is not responsive like the Fit Bit to down load information to the computer. I will be going to one of the in-store classes for the Gear Fit.

This fitness watch/device is great!!! IT does so much more than a FITBIT. You can receive text messages/ know who is calling you and much more - pedometer -stopwatch- etc...... For the money - it is a keeper.

Its and amazing wrist watch. Very customizable and Extremely Useful. I use the caller id on and love it. as well as quick reply with txt messages as i am in meets a lot where i can not pull out my phone. Keeps track of my sleep very good. i love the heart rate monitor as well. all and all a great buy. I also purchased a navigation app for it witch is very useful. Battery last about a day and half or so with using the navigation alot ( screen is always on when in navi). It has enough time to charge while i take a shower in the morning never ran out of battery yet, and i work 12 hour days... ** A must have with this is the warranty, its worn in a vulnerable spot... I also bought a screen shield for it witch works great also from best buy.

I love the notifications for email, messages, and when a phone all is coming in. It lets me know before my phone rings. The heart rate monitor helped when I was out of my medication to keep my heart rate in check.

Takes the most important parts of a smartwatch and a fitness band, at a decent price, however it leaves out some of the most fun and entertaining aspects of its more expensive counterparts. Add that to the fact that it requires a samsung device its a hard sell to anyone without brand loyalty.

Love the notifications, lets me not be a slave to my phone. But the exercise calculations are way off when i run withy it and my Garmin side by side. Depends on what you want it for - I am not the best at checking my phone for texts, phone calls etc - this works great. I am much more responsive now. I wanted to use it to sync and track exercise - but it's not accurate enough. Like i said - overall I love it and now would be lost without it.

I have had the gear fit for a few weeks now and wear it all the time. I have received many compliments on how nice it looks. it is light and just right for my wrist (which is on the smaller side). I have setup several of my phone apps to send notifications to it and I do not need to pull my phone out every time it beeps. I use the pedometer, heart rate monitor and sleep monitor everyday and they have helped me make small changes in my lifestyle to start living healthier - move more and sleep more! the best part is that I can make the screen match my outfit color so it is always fashionable.

I purchased this mainly to use for mountain biking. Its fun to use to control volume from my wrist when listening to music. The sleep monitor is also interesting to see how much you move around when sleeping. The heart rate monitor is hit or miss, many times it will not read but it is useful when exercising to provide a stat range of your max beat, average beat etc. Over all I would recommend this product and am happy with my purchase.

I read reviews for several fitness bands before buying this one. There are several on the market and many of them have similar features but I liked this on the best having a Samsung phone to pair it with. Only thing I wish is that the battery lasted longer, only getting 3 days at full charge. Other than that it does what I need it to do.
