Overall very happy w purchase. I have 4g version bc I wsnted to be able to leave phone behind when i run. Battery life cpuld be better, long runs w music wipe out battery. S-Voice is good as long as no background noise. Limited apps, but did not buy for the apps, and plenty of useful apps.

Love that I can use it without having my phone with me, for only $5 a month. Battery life is OK. Doesn't usually last a whole day. Charges quick though. I love that I can link to other apps. I get notification if my garage opens, if my baby moves in her crib etc. There are flaws, but it's definitely one of the top smart watches.

This watch is perfect for me to have while working or working out. I don't have to pull out my phone to see what messages I have. I can check my emails, make calls, etc.. Samsung always makes great devices.

I bought this Samsung watch for a gift for my husband for fathers day. He is that tech savvy so, I was hoping that the setup ect. would not be that difficult. He loves his watch. It tracks his exercises. He loves the different faces you can use. And most importantly he loves the fact that it has its own separate number. I must admit that I like it more than my Apple watch. And when he does answer the phone on his watch it's actually clearer than his phone. Samsung did a great job with this watch.

Everything works great except for the Glympse app which it's developer and Samsung implied could be used as a stand alone on the watch. It was a huge part of the reason I purchased the watch. Now, Glympse personnel tell me that feature won't actually be ready for roll out until some unspecified time later this year.

Bought this knowing that it wouldn't revolutionize my life, and it hasn't. It works well and the battery lasts me about two days under normal use. Disabling unnecessary notifications is critical to saving battery life, along with turning down the screen brightness. It's nice to be able to check a watch when an email or txt arrives rather than going to a phone across the room or in a briefcase. Typing on a watch is pointless but you can if you really need to. Using it as a phone is nice while being away from the phone but the call forwarding confuses me and I still can't get it to work the way I want it to.

The Gear S2 watch is well made in every way that counts. It can take a good beating, the watch face is very accurate to the touch, waterproofing is excellent. The call quality is far better than I thought it would be when used independently, it's downright good. It's a bettereally speaker phone than a phone as it more accurately drowns out noise that isn't you talking. It's a bit pricey, but if you are someone that does a lot outside, like mountain biking, you should really consider getting one of these since it can be used in lieu of a phone. That could be the difference between a broken or soaked phone and just a watch with some water on it.

This watch is much better than most activity watches out there. I bought it mostly to track my heart rate, though, and it does not consistently do that like the apple watch does! It is seems to die somewhat quickly but overall it's a good watch!

Not necessarily for a beginner but is convenient to have. It would be even better if the watch had Samsung Pay capabilities. As someone who tends to break phones, this helps as I do not have to have my phone on me at all times.

The watch is convenient amd never in the way...i can make phone calls and txt but if you have big fingers its hard 2 txt...having the warranty for this product is really good they've replaced it for me once because the face of the watch was coming loose but overall i like this product.it comes with adjustable bands too.

I love the Samsung Gear 2. It's helpful when I can't have my phone on me. I'm able to see who's calling to know if I need to run for to the phone. And even answer the phone if necessary when my hands are full.

Works great. I have this on Verizon network and I never have any issues with it. I can drive with both hands on the wheel and talk. I love the activity tracker (although it does seem to be a bit inaccurate, picking up wrist movements). There are a lot of faces to customize it. Can't wait until there are more apps added!

I love everything this does, my only complaint is the battery life. I'm lucky to get through 8 hrs. I'm sure there's a way to maximize that, but I haven't figured it out yet.

We have had a few issues with this watch. The charging has been an issue and we have had to exchange it twice, but overall, the features are good and we really like them.

Lightweight device and great graphic for such small screen. A lot of functions. You have additional number from Verizon just for $5 a month. You can forward calls from your main Smartphone to Samsung - Gear S2 Smartwatch and do not keep a Smartphone all the time with you.

I loved all the features just thought it looked a little big on my wrist.

Great phone watch if I put it on power save it stays charged for almost 3 days

This is the main gift for people in my family and they LOVE them.

I purchased this to see the names and map when I walked. The paths have no street names and when walking it was important to know how many miles I walked. The map was too light and the print was too small to read. I however learned it was a stand alone telephone. Before I would lose the call by the time I got the devise from by backpack and was afraid of propping it from my pocket. The ability to receive calls and getting a pulse reading enabled me (after my operation) to return my long walks. I love my watch/phone.
