This smart watch is a great extension of your phone. It gives you a quick and easy way to see and respond to notifications. Taking calls on it works well and so do the other preloaded functions. However S Voice is really bad, not good at Voice recognition.

I love my watch. I had to play with it for a couple of days to figure out some of the features. Battery life is great as long as you keep the brightness low and turn the screen off. I didn't charge it for almost 2 days and it still had 36%. Only wish it had more options as far at the wristband goes but still great in my book.

I would have been happier with the band type of previous gears, but the watch itself is a well designed device. I do miss the built in camera though. Had to upgrade when my snap-on charger broke. I like the new wireless cradle but wish ît was a battery like the previous model. This was an upgrade but could have been better.

It is great to be able to answer calls when my phone is downstairs or vice versa. I don't miss calls anymore. Texting isn't that great, learning curve I suppose. I still use my phone for that but getting alerts, msg's, and emails is handy. Wish it was a little more stylish but guessing that will be here soon!

Great watch. Looks good, feels good. Decent battery life. My only issue is the S-Health app is not the most accurate for running. It has been very inconsistent. I needed to adjust my height down a foot to get fairly accurate readings when not using the GPS on the 3G. Other than this, I really like the watch.

Good watch, I like that it is standalone, has GPS, and easy to use. I think the wristband could've been made better. And battery life isn't that great. Can usually get a day and a half with normal use (not using texts, emails, gps)

I had the gear neo and upgraded to this when I switched phones and this is by far the best smartwatch available. It is the only one for android with a speaker so you can talk on the phone or play music while working out. It has an auto heart monitor which you can set to every every hour or every 15 minutes plus an auto workout tracker for running or walking.

The watch works great but some features are difficult to find. For example, my "apps" screen somehow disappeared and it took me about 20 minutes to find the solution online before I could get it back...and then, it was the last screen in the rotation instead of the first as it had previously been. I also had an issue where I was not receiving texts when I left my phone at home, when before that feature had worked OK. I have yet to solve that. The push notifications have become a bit annoying but I'm sure they can also be removed. Additionally, the watch doesn't automatically block calls that are set to block on my phone. Again, I'm sure additional tweaking will take care of it. But not easy to find solutions. But once I do, it seems to work.

Bought it to use it as a fitness tracker but when I put it to the test at the gym it wouldn't read my heart rate at all.Overall the watch is nice and water proof and the battery life is way better than the apple watch

I had a Gear S and wanted another gear because my old one was losing battery. This fit the bill! I was able to connect it to my phone without a problem. Later I was able to connect it to a Galaxy Note 3 where others have said they could not get it connected. So indeed this is a great purchase. This watch lets you see all of your notifications in a very nice way and you can switch from one to another with the bevel. I love it!

I previously switched to Apple for a short time and had the Apple watch, this watch is better based on price and what you can do with it. This watch has nice features if you are going to use it.
The biggest flaw I HATE about this watch (I would give 4.5/5 star with this feature if it had it), when you receive a text, you can not talk to text back, you have to go scroll through your contacts and find that person to be able to do that which I feel is a wasted point, I got the watch for ease. You could respond immediately on apple watch with talk to text, the watch would be much better with that feature and it truly annoys me you cannot do that without taking a minute to scroll through your contacts.

I bought the Samsung Gear S2 Smartwatch for my husband for Christmas. He absolutely loves it! He tells everyone about the convenience of having a smart watch. The calls are clear. It sends and receives text messages. The battery lasts all day. So far, everything that it's supposed to do, it does! He continually says thank you for giving him such a great gift!
