Watch is easy to use with a little practice. I love that I can receive notifications for texts, calls, email, WhatsApp, and more. Lots of watch faces to choose from and easy to change. Also, easy to customize.

I love this gift. It tells me how many calories i lost after i lift boxes, walk a lot. I can text and call on it. I get the social media notifications on my watch. I don’t even need to use the phone. For somebody that didn’t do any review on this, the setup is easy. Then you can watch youtube for additional functions of the watch.

I'm a Samsung product user; therefore, it was natural for me to get a Samsung smart watch. I was torn between this watch and the S3 Frontier, but ultimately went with this one for a couple of reasons: slightly smaller and the ability to swim with it. I love the Samsung pay feature on the watch as it saves me from having to pull out my phone from my pocket. The only things I don't like is that it ofreces me to use the default Samsung messaging app in order to get them on the watch. I loved using Google's Android messenger app, but had to switch back for this one. The other thing is that the heart rate sensor is pretty shaky and you have to be very still for it to read properly. For those reasons, it does not get 5 stars from me.

I purchased this several months ago and continue to be very pleased with my Samsung Gear Sport (black). My wife has an iwatch and I have been reading reviews for several years. All the android based smart watches were huge, like strapping a clock to your wrist. The Gear Sport does what I am looking for: shows me texts, tells me when I have calls, or emails, or voice mail. It tells me the altitude, my heart rate, the weather... My ONLY complaint - I'm left handed and I wear it on my right wrist. Why can't they let you flip the watch upside down so the buttons will be positioned for a lefty. Granted the bottom one will be on top, and visa versa. As leftys are 11% of the population, why can't they design things ambidextrously?

It's a really good smart watch, durable and waterproof

So far I like it. I specifically wanted a swim tracking smart watch. This seems to be harder to find. At least one that tracks swimming, heart rate, works as a smart watch, and most of all doesn't break 2 months in to owning the device. I use this, almost daily for swimming. It seems to track my lengths pretty well. I like the water lock mode since it is waterproof having a way to keep water from accessing the screen is a much needed thing. There are some minor negatives. But mostly it has to do with software, 3rd party and occasional screw ups with Samsung's updates. These are unfortunate; but, not unexpected in an imperfect world. I would chose this watch again and recommend it to others.

I looked at a lot of different watch options after my FitBit blaze broke, the Gear Sport checked all the boxes. I like that I can store my playlists right on the watch, and it connects easily to my Bluetooth headphones, along with the GPS tracking my runs, I don't have to bring my phone to the gym or on my outdoor runs if I don't want to. The fact that it's waterproof means I don't have to worry if I forget to take it off int he shower or steam room. The notifications come across easily and I can respond with basic phrases. No microphone, so no voice reply. I am not a big fan of the Samsung Health App. It's not easy to compare previous days, and the sleep tracking is not as accurate as my fit bit was.

Great watch usually get 3 days of use out of it before I have to charge. Water proofing is great and so is the rotating bezel. The only thing I wish it had is a speaker to make calls with.

One of the things that impressed me the most about this watch was the battery life. If you’re looking for a cheaper smart watch to use for working out this is definitely a good choice.

I bought this for my wife because she doesn't like the look of fitness trackers and the Fossil Q I got her was horrible about keeping steps or tracking other useful things. This watch counts accurately and monitors HR pretty well. It also lets her pick the exercise she's doing (biking, walking, hiking) and adjusts (presumably) to that activity. The faces are selectable so she can have it look more like a traditional analog watch. And the battery lasts well over a day and charges fully overnight on a wireless charger. The app ties in with her Galaxy phone, but the app isn't spectacular by any means. You still need another app to do full tracking in our opinions.

this watch does much more then I expected. it's so easy to you and all I have to do is look at my wrist to see my massages and answer, do t even need to look for my phone

I got my husband a Samsung gear frontier and was debating for quite a while if i should get the samsung gear classic. I ultimately decided to get the sport and it fits nicely on my wrist. I knew i was going to like the features as my husband already has the frontier. Great on the go watch :)

The watch fits nicely and keeps a charge for a few days. I like the look and ability to receive notifications more discretely while at work. The fitness tracking is well done.

This watch last about 4 days, is great for swimming and helps me stay on track with fitness. I never used the speaker in any of my previous smart watches, so no loss there.

I went from fitbit to Samsung and, while fitbit is awesome too, this one I LOVE. I am still playing around with the functions but the amount of apps it has and the health help is great. I love that I get notifications without hearing my phone and know exactly who texted, called, etc.

Awesome watch for the active person on the go all day , easy to keep track of all exercise and steps throughout the day. It looks cool too ! Highly recommended !

This watch has been my perfect companion for my Galaxy 8+. I was about to get the S3 when this one came out. I like its lightweight, very easy to navigate, and the screen looks awesome. Some of the features I use the most: Sleep tracker, calories burned, alarm clock, steps taken.
