It does exactly what it is supposed to do. However, It occasionally stops talking and have to reconnect it or it won't connect right away. Not sure I have a bum unit tho, others on the net have the same issues.

The controller for Gear VR wasn't very difficult to set up although I suggest getting rechargable AAA batteries for it so it's ready to use always

If you have an older generation VR headset you should really invest in this little gadget. Most newer game titles in the Oculus store now offer support for it and it does make for a better gameplay experience.

Buy this over the controller. You can play more games with this than with the controller. The only thing I would say is that if you dont want to kill the batteries be sure to turn bluetooth off completely.

Sorry, I cannot write review on this as I returned this product. I bought this for my son, but he needed something else with more functionality than what this offers.

Great backup to replace the controller for my old vr. Too bad theyre discontinuing support for these devices with the new s20 and s21 devices.

One of my complaints with the gear be was it’s lack of control ability. I would offer click on something unintentionally using the headset controls. No regrets

I am not a fan of the Samsung gear and the controller seemed to not function properly often. It always needs to be recalculated.

I did have some issues setting up. Also make sure you are connected before you begin use of vr app. It can be a pain to connect to Bluetooth if not already connected.

Not much it can do beyond Gear VR navigation, but the price was great!

I love the gear VR and plan to use my Galaxy S8 exclusively for VR purpose once the usable life is over. So keeping this as backup controller

Well packaged. Was fun while Samsung VR was being supported. Unfortunately, Samsung no longer supports their VR headsets.

I bought this to use with my Samsung Note 4. Unfortunately it was not compatible. I upgraded to a Samsung S7 Edge and it works like a charm. Highly recommended.

very disappointing that it is only compatable with only even a few samsung devices!

I got this right before Samsung changed the charger type on their phones making the Gear VR obsolete. Great when it worked.

i was one of the thousands of buyers who bought this for cheap before finding out what its actually for. It has great build, buttons feels clicky and responsive. However i don't have a gear VR headset and dont plan to get one unless its also dirt cheap. I thought i'd be able to repurpose it as a mouse but thats not possible at least not currently. So i just have a paper weight that feels nice to hold.

If you have a Gear VR, just go buy this immediately. It's a much more immersive experience using the controller than the touch pad on the side of the visor.

Compliments the samsung vr goggles perfectly. Got it on clearance for $2.13 lol Great buy and works well.

Adding the controller to my VR experience was the best thing I could have done. It has opened up a whole new world of gaming for me I love it!!!

This went on sale for 3 bucks and promoted me to buy it and the Samsung VR which has been lots of fun. I love VR in any form.
