great tablet. light and fast. great screen, very responsive. upgraded from nexus 7, so having the expandable memory slot is good. to bad kitkat doesn't allow writing to sd card (without rooting) with most apps. did find out that the pre-installed 'my files' app does allow editing of files. decent to manage files, but other file management apps are better. screen does pick up fingerprints easy. battery seems to drain quick with some apps, but not others. manufacturers need to get away from the 16 GB storage on the main device, already running low after a few apps and movies, without the micro sd i would be constantly deleting files and apps.

While this tablet has been around for quite some time, this tablet's specs remain competitive. Even when comparing this to the Samsung Tab S2, this tablet seems to have a better screen while still having a comparable amount of memory and an 8 core processor. I have used this for the past month and I can say I am very happy with it. The Micro SD port is available and easily accessible. I was able to triple the amount of memory for less than $20 (Thanks Best Buy). This tablet is very lightweight and seems to be easy to handle. I use this primarily for reading, but the video watching and web browsing experiences are well above average. The richness of the color is noticeable especially when I use apps like Netflix and Plex.

Love this tablet. It is by far the best I've ever used due to screen resolution, sound, Android, performance, and especially weight relative to size. Awesome!

I purchased my tablet on line, it arrived almost a week earlier then estimated. The tablet arrived in a Geek squad box since it's a refurbished. It couldn't be in more perfect condition. There wasn't a scratch or smudge on it. It's absolutely perfect. I'm working on my tablet probably 8 hours a day and haven't had a single problem. The screen picture in incredible! It runs smoothly and quickly with 3GB of RAM. I Love this product!

This tablet is a good value, especially when you compare it against what non-refurbished (new) models of the same tablet cost at Best Buy and at other online retailers. I am always skeptical of open-box or refurbished products, as I am particular about their condition and have found that others miss detecting damage that I see. That was the case on this tablet, as when it arrived, I noticed some small scratches on the tablet's screen. They were small enough and not visible when the tablet was on that I decided to keep it, but be aware that these are not new products and that can happen. Otherwise, it is a good deal. The tablet itself is fast, nicely sized, and has a beautiful looking screen for graphics.

I got this tablet refurbished. There was no damage that I could find. I charged it up and began using. I am quite happy with this tablet. I like the faster processor and more ram, it really cuts down on the buffering.

I love the functionality. It does everything I need it to do. I just wish it included the gps feature along with the ability to use a data plan like the ipads and not just wifi service.

Refurbished by Geek Squad, it came like new, so great value. It is a beautiful tablet, with a great AMOLED screen. For someone looking for a book reader, but with a bit more power, this is ideal. The 8.4" size is perfect for holding in one hand, e.g. while reading in bed. But it is a little small for heavy web surfing ... so I did return for larger 10.1 Note Pro (although that is a tad big for reading in bed). It was a close trade-off.

This tablet is fantastic. I love the multi purpose use of the dual screens and the graphics are great. Also the motion of the gaming is flawless. I have a very technical job and this tablet a lows me to view both my projects and the website I need to view the structure and streets surrounding with no freezing or pixels.

The screen is absolutely unbelievable, and it's crazy fast. Saved over $100 buying it refurbished.

When I found this tablet "Samsung Galaxy tab S 8,4" with price $219, I was pretty confident that it will be in bad conditions. I took the risk and ordered that tablet. I got a perfect piece with almost new conditions. it is working perfectly with me so far.

This has been a great tab, especially for the price. It arrived in pristine condition and functions just like it was brand new. I really couldn't be happier.

Bought this Samsung Tab S because of the price. It came in excellent condition and all the hardware was included. Would definitely do it again.

I knew this was a good buy when I ordered it, but when it came it was only encased in clear plastic wrap on a piece of cardboard with no documentation or factory warranty. Ultimately this was going to be a gift and the wrapping was unacceptable for this purpose so I decided not to keep it and exchanged it for a full retail version. But based on the retail version I bought I have to say that this is a best buy as far as tablets go. It has a gorgeous display, beautiful case, it's a nice size, fast and has Android Kit Kat. It is an excellent alternative to the iPad Mini.

We bought the tablet in place of a camera. It's more useful then just having a digital camera. We picked it over the iPad because the sound is way better the picture is clearer and much sharper. It was open box but great condition.

I bought this refurbished tablet not knowing why it was refurbished and having had it a little over a month now, I find it to be plagued with problems I've not seen mentioned in other tablet reviews for this same model. The display is beautiful nut drains battery fast, can't play games or watch a full movie as the device overheats. Hoping bugs work themselves out.

Extremely satisfied with product, best clarity and performance

I did a lot of research and this seemed to be the best tablet for the money. I have thoroughly enjoyed the screen quality and thin design. These two features set this tablet apart from any other. I loved the smaller 8.4 inch size. It fits very comfortably in my hands. I would recommend it over the 10.5 inch

Have the tablet for over 2 months, love the vivid color it produce compare to other android tablet on the market. best part I was able to update it to Lollipop unless some others that aren't up-gradable. Battery life was good, recharge every two days. used it on average 4-5 hours of view news and video, 70% brightness.

I read a number of the reviews before I opted for the refurbished Galaxy. I am so glad I did! It arrived without a scratch, and is working just fine. No issues, and the savings is worth it! I bought this to replace a Blackberry, as their app support is extremely limited. This Galaxy met my expectations and more..
