Customers love the accuracy of the heart rate monitor and the ease of use of this fitness watch. Many appreciate the affordable price and the generally good condition of the refurbished devices, although some experienced issues with battery life and step counting accuracy. I got no way to make this work without drivers for connect it to the computer and I got no instructions or a receipt. Most unprofessional best buy has ever been do me and I've been going for 17 years. Extremely disappointed, I spent $1,300 on my desktop I bought 2 years ago when best buy cared about their customers. I am pretty disappointed.... I bought this for my father and I don't know much about fitbits but I am a configuration Technician for the past 12 years and this is the most disappointed I've ever got something from any best buy. I want a refund. It was a 179.99 dollar disappointment. I wouldn't even be able to return it because it came with nothing!!!!!

I bought this after my fiitbit blaze died. I must say just taking the watch/fitness tracker into account I prefer it. The large screen makes it easier to read texts or notifications when exercising. I like that it has a built in GPS and storage for music so I don't have to have my phone with me while out on a run. Another feature I like about the gear fit2 vs the blaze really stands out when sleeping. I would inadvertently turn the blaze on as it was easy to accidentally press one of the buttons. When you did on the blaze I would have to hold my hand over the screen until it turned off, the gear fit2 I hardly ever accidentally turn the screen on but when you do placing your hand over the screen turns off the screen. The integration with the IPhone isn't the best and the instructions to set it up don't tell you how to do much. For instance when trying to load music onto the watch they were not making snece as they are assuming you have an android. I finally found instructions on how to load from a PC(there is no directly loading music from the iphone)said to press the triangle at the bottom of the music app and use the music manager app on the pc. Well there wasn't a triangle at the bottom on the music app and I could find no place that I could download the music manager app. I figured ok I need to update the firmware possibly to get the triange at least. After looking on how to do that it instructs you do it through the app which is correct as long as you don't have an iPhone. If you have an iPhone you have to on the watch itself connect to the wifi then go into settings scroll down to gear info and choose update gear software. After it downloaded and rebooted I had the triangle which had an option for gear music manager. When I selected that it walked me through connecting a pc to the same network and using a web browser to access the music manager on the watch itself.
So while I greatly prefer the watch to the blaze the integration leaves a lot to be desired unless you are running an android.

I wanted to answer a few questions that I had when I was researching this product. Since it's refurbished, you most likely will not get the manual but those are easily found online. The app that is used with this "watch" is Samsung Gear. It syncs with your Samsung Health app and backs up with your Samsung account. It can be used with iPhone but why buy a Samsung product when you have an Apple phone?? Doesn't make sense to me to do that. Anyway, it came with an 85% charge and as soon as I downloaded the Gear app, it was set up & working within 5 minutes. You get all the same notifications as you do on your phone but you can only reply to texts and phone calls using pre-made answers which you can change yourself - not one person wrote a review regarding how you CAN change the auto responses so that's nice. The alarm/timer from your phone works on the watch as well so that's super helpful. The only thing is you can't go too far away from your phone. For instance, if you are exercising, you would still need to have your phone near you (won't work if you leave it at home). The display has quite a few screen designs that are pretty cute. I haven't tried it, but it also holds a good amount of music but you have to use bluetooth ear buds to hear the music. Also, for sizing, I measured my wrist before buying the "large" but it's pretty big still, I have it on the tightest possible. Anyway, I hope this helps someone that had certain questions like I did. BTW, I definitely think the refurbished is a good deal - just buy the GeekSquad protection plan and they will replace it no matter what. Saves a lot of $$$ in the end :)

I really like this watch. Very light so that you can wear it all the time and even track your sleep. Customisable watch face can help you transition from a casual look to a sports watch.

My sister had one and she loved it so i bought one too. Her used one died on her and she ended buying a new one because she loved it so much. My refurbished one works great. It froze once since I bought it two weeks ago. It never fell off like other reviews said. I get my notifications from my phone on it. I get email too. When you get a phone call, it vibrates and gives you the option to answer or decline. If you answer, it basically answers your actual phone. You have to talk on the phone, not the watch. There is no noise that comes from the watch. Only vibrates. This makes it water resistant. The count of stairs is off a little. If you walk up slowly and dont move your arms then it doesn't count it. My cousin walked through the grocery store pushing a cart and it didn't register the steps. Its not a hundred percent accurate but i think it does a decent job. I wanted it for more of notifications during school since i cant have my phone out.

The watch looks good, feels good and is easy to use. It shows all the notifications, call alerts, fitness reminders etc. The screen is great and possibly the best fitness band available around. The only down side is you cant take or make calls from it youd have to use your phone. Also the texting is limited to the predefined texts besides thats i just love to use it and it would happily replace any band one might have owned.

Its been 4 months since I purchased this with a deal during the Indpendence day weekend. It is pretty good as it does a good job for what its meant to be. The only issue I have had is that if you go for a second run during an hour (after taking a break) it sometimes does not record the second run. Sleep tracking is very good, you can control your music select any exercise from the watch itself. Overall good

I have Samsung Gear S2 and love it. Wanted something lighter and 'cheaper', so I looked and found a Geek Squad certified refurbished Fit2 for great price. Love it so much, that my Gear S2 is 'resting' at home - most of the time now. Great that I can switch beteeen the two devices and the steps and fitness data get 'combined together in the Samsung Heath app. Love the fact that Fit2 traces my sleep as well, which the Gear S2 doesn't. Very satisfied. For the price I got the Fit2 ($70) and the fact that it was really like new - absolute perfect wearable.

First of all, it doesn't look like a clock strapped to my wrist. It is small and sleek enough for a woman, and even some of the watch faces are feminine. I was not as interested in the fitness-tracking capabilities as I was in being notified of emails, texts, and phone calls. This watch fills the bill--but I've also learned to love it as a fitness tracker. It automatically starts timing as I walk (since I often forget to start it) and keeps track of time and distance.
The one thing I had to do immediately was change the band to one that wouldn't fall off my wrist, but there are third-party sellers of inexpensive but good bands, and the band is easy to change. That's why I gave the watch only four stars.
Even though the watch is billed as more of a fitness tracker than a smart watch, it's really both of those things. I'm definitely very glad that this is the one I chose.

PROS:
-has the three main things i searched for in a watch. pedometer, heart rate, and stopwatch
-good for the money i paid (refurbished, rewards money, and work reimbursed some)
-can turn the auto screen when you flick your wrist off and turn down the screen brightness to make the battery last longer
-when the battery gets to low you can put it on battery saver and it lasts all day until you can get home to charge it
-fast charge (maybe an hour)
-good/ lots of things it tracks and you can enter in your own info
-call and text notifications
CONS:
-have to wear it above the wrist bone for the heart rate monitor and its a really awkward spot
-have to turn off the auto screen because it would turn on with small wrist flicks
-i didnt buy for call/ text notifications. i like that i get notifications but the options for texting back are really limited and you have to be near your phone. not the watch for you if this is something you really want.
-sleep tracking isnt as good as i wanted but still better then my last pedometer
very good watch for the bare basics. its very easy to use and figure out without a manual. would recommend if you can get refurbished or really good deal. original price is $180 and i personally dont think its worth over $100.

It's great for tracking steps and heart rate, but the phone had to be too close for Bluetooth usage (Spotify/notifications). It was also difficult to use Bluetooth speakers with it. It would say it's connected and then still play from the phone. If I have to use this as solely an activity monitor, I don't think it's worth it and would get something cheaper.

This refurbished item appeared to be brand new when I took it out the box. No visible signs of wear at all. Screen was brand new, band looked brand new. Great features on device. Takes a while to get used to everything, I didn't look at a manual but gradually figured everything out. The colors are amazing! You can read your notifications like texts or calls (reading texts is nice on this device because you can scroll and read full messages unlike other devices). Or you can also choose to ignore notifications (which is good when you don't want to be distracted during a workout). You can change to many different faces, which is a cool feature. Sleep monitoring is a great feature, it's beneficial to be able to see how much sleep you're getting. The only draw back is the HR does not work! It reads 67 all the time and the green light periodically blinks. Considering I paid about half for what it would normally cost and everything else works... I think it's worth it. That's the risk of buying refurbished, there might be some kind of defect but if you can live without the defect.. then why not get it... I end up changing trackers about once a year so I ain't worried. One other thing is I find I have to charge it almost everyday... but makes sense with the color display.

Not only does it track steps and detect exercise, but it has full compatability with my galaxy phone. I have complete integration with media players, spotify, alerts and messages. It also has its own GPS. Needless to say, I am very satisfied with this device

The Samsung fit 2 is a great fitness watch. I love that it tracks my heart rate during my Cage fitness class and that it gently encourages me to drink more water throughout the day. Although limited I still like seeing the sleep data. Getting this excellent watch At the open box price was a no-brainer. I'm pretty sure this one was brand-new. I get all my text messages and alerts like when UPS delivers a product to my house on the watch now. Very handy during meetings. BTW, i'm using this with an iPhone 7. Highly recommend the product and Best Buy!

I love my Samsung watch. It connect great with S Health to help keep me on track. It has great battery life and the reading seem very accurate as compared to other watches. It even goes to sleep when inactive.
