I needed a quick travel phone and didn't want to take my iPhone, just in case. This was a perfect phone to take. I did drop it, and it didn't break ! You can sent texts, make calls and take photos. SO, it was great for a short term use.

I got this for my aging parents and they find it easy to use, buttons are big making it easy to see and push. Both are in there mid eighties, and it gives peace of mind to all of us they have a phone they can use while they are on the go.

We picked up this phone for our exchange student so she could save money by not having to use her smart phone all the time. Mainly used for contacting us and friends she made in the area. Worked well as expected.

Verizon will only allow this phone on this network if you have or are going to buy a prepaid account with them. I wanted a non contract phone that I could replace a phone that I had for a few years on an existing service. Best Buy was very reasonable in allowing me to return this phone and get my money back.

Works great if you want to just talk and text. verizon basic plan worked great for work use where you cant have a camera phone.

If you just want a simple phone, this is the way to go. I use a Verizon prepaid plan since I do not make many phone calls. In my case this is the most economical way to go.

We just needed a very basic flip phone; that is what we got. Easy to set up and use.

Why would somebody give a five star rating to an "unimpressive" flip phone? It starts with the price. With sales tax and some junk fee, $ 21.60 for a no contract full price phone with more than basic features is awesome. Obviously, you cannot expect much for this price. But there is nothing really bad or annoying on this phone either. It is my second Samsung Gusto, and it definitely improved since the first edition. I use it as a back up phone- my main phone ( phablet) is with T-mobile and whenever I do not have coverage or the battery is down it automatically forwards to this phone. Also, when I do work where my phone can get wet/ damaged, i use this one- it's $ 21.60 to loose and it takes far more abuse than my pricey phablet.. The first Gusto lasted 4.5 years and I hope this one will too. It is also an excellent phone for elderly/handicapped people who have difficulties using a complex smart phone or touch screen. There is nothing out there in the market what even comes close. Best Buy seems to be a good source for interesting, very well priced phones.
