Works great if you just want to talk
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We purchased this phone because our hunting camp in Georgia has limited cell service the only phone that comes in is Verizon . Our AT&T phones will not work. We were looking for an cheap way to stay in contact with family in Florida. A $15 card and the Basic phone you can't get much cheaper. If all you need to do is talk it is a good phone. Voices are clear. The menu is very difficult to work. Takes minutes to text 5 words. It takes terrible pictures. The pictures are so bad you can hardly tell what it's a picture of. No internet for that price. Great cheap phone to talk only.

Your basic,simple, 3G Feature Phone.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picked this up last month on sale for a family member who was waiting for a new phone/service to be delivered, who doesn't really require web/data usage, or unlimited calling. Needed something right away, so this did the trick, with no contract/deposit/large investment involved. Yes, it's an antiquated 3G platform with limited features, and it's a flip phone, so it will only be useful to a very limited demographic. No different from most 2004 phones on the market. However, it was easy to set-up, the Verizon Prepaid service is cheap (starting @ $15 per month) with cards that can be purchased nearly anywhere. The texture of the phone is easy to grip, and makes it nearly impossible to drop the phone (they should cover Androids with this material). The in-call quality is surprisingly good (no dropped calls so far). Recommended for someone with very basic cellular needs, for a backup phone/emergency phone, or someone who doesn't want/need modern features or 4G LTE capability.

Tiny but tuff
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Extremely affordable, durable, compact, and with great battery life, the gusto 3 more than holds up the economy end of the Samsung phone line. The abundant features are more than I have figured out at this time but in no way detract from the basic utility of the phone

Works well with no muss or fuss
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this for my elderly father who after 10 years managed to kill off his old phone. Not wanting to deal with a contract phone at his age or try to explain why to him, as he is 87 years old, I found this phone. He now has unlimited talk--which is what you need for someone his age--and text messaging--not going to try to explain what that is to him--for less than half of what his old contract phone used to cost. Tie it to a debit card and voila; a phone that is easy to use, has the things he needs on it, and can be gotten rid of when...the time comes...

Good phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for my mother in law so we and her friends can call her. It's a great and simple prepaid phone without all the bells and whistles of newer, touch screen phones. It has everything she needs without being too complicated for her to handle. Topping up each month is easy. Would highly recommend this phone!

It's all I need and want!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This phone is perfect for me because i only wanted it for in the car while traveling. Because I do not work out of the home, I use my land line almost exclusively. This has held its battery power for a long while, and has all the features I need for a fraction of the cost of something fancier.

Simple and effective
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this phone for my parents as just a simple phone for emergencies and have the Basic Talk plan from Verizon. I have my own out dated smart phone on a No Contract plan which costs me more than twice what I pay for the Verizon Pre-Paid program. I may just switch and purchase my own simple Verizon Pre-Paid Basic plan as this is a great phone as I am of the generation that doesn't need to be "Wired" in all the time.
