How do you add minutes to this phone? null

as of Sept 2017 I was told by Verizon customer service that the only plan to add service to this phone is $30 for unlimited talk/text I've had this phone for a couple of years, I only use it every 6 months or so when I travel to an area that only gets Verizon service; 6 months ago, I was able to add $15 (can't remember how many minutes I got) that expired in 30 days. Since I only use it for emergencies, I want a minimum investment. When I first started using the phone a couple years ago, I could add minutes in $10 increments. Very frustrated with Verizon for switching plans and increasing the fee 100% (doubling what I have to pay to reactivate the service on this phone.) Communications monopoly, anyone?

You have to call your provider. The phone does not come with one or any of the services they provide.
