Cell phone works perfectly for calls and messages. The battery life is amazing as well. Great buy for a short term phone

This is an okay basic phone with a few deficiencies. First is that it sounds a loud, audible alarm when it's charged. Thus, putting it on the charger at bedtime is a mistake. Second, unlike the Gusto 2, there is no setting to disable alerts, e.g., weather alerts, amber alerts, etc. This is inexcusable. Finally, the battery life is not so good, 4-6 days with very light use. My Gusto 2 would regularly go over a week, sometimes 2 weeks.

I would definitely buy this phone again. It is very easy to use and has all the feature you need in a basic phone.

My son went to a camp which did not allow the kids to have smart phones (no internet or text) but could have phones to make calls only. This phone was perfect. The service that came with it was verizon and it was very good. Although this phone can be used for texting, verizon was very accommodating and shut that service off so that the phone was permissible for use in camp. And the price was right. Thank you Best Buy for helping me to 'buy' the 'best' solution for my son

First it is so cheap it works perfect easy menu and it is so convenient to carry it.

Great little flip phone. Battery life is insanely long.

This is my 2nd one of these. My fifth Gusto. They last about a year. Very easy to water damage. Excellent voice quality in network, a bit less out of network. Basic talk and text. Poor screen resolution. Poor photo's. 1x service, NOT 3g. I work in a rough environment and I need a cheap disposable phone and this is it.

i had a smartphone that died and decided to go this route, it does anything i need to do at a much less expensive price

This phone is great for simple use. I was looking for a phone, I could used for text and calls only. It's perfect.

I found this phone hard to activate. The voice instructions were not too clear and the voice message garbled. After purchasing a $15 verizon phone card I called the 1-888 number only to be told I would need a $30 for them to activate. For the reason stated I would not recommend this phone.

This is the best phone I could find if you are looking for something that's not a smart phone. Highly recommended.

For a simple well built phone it is a good phone that works well and is simple to use.

I am older and do not like smart phones nor do I understand them. This is perfect for making calls when out.
