This is a great little flip for those who are looking for simplicity and legibility at a price that can't be beat. Would be great not only for seniors but anyone close who prefers FEWER buttons/options. Voices come through clear and loud enough. Longer texts might be more cumbersome to tap out on the telephone keypad and without a full QWERTY keyboard so keep looking if that's a concern but anyone who needs bigger fonts to see displayed phone numbers and text messages will appreciate that option here.

We use it exclusively for kid phone calls and quick text. It works well for that, also very affordable for both pricing and plan (prepaid).

I needed a phone just for emergencies and limited personal calls. The phone is sound is clear and the menu is easy to use.

I purchased this phone when I was having troubles with my regular cell carrier phone. Worked perfectly and held a charge for a long time. Very easy to use, albeit hard to text using the old fashioned way.

The phone is still ticking without issues after a year. This has only been used as an emergency/backup phone, so it doesn't get used often. Very basic and not feature-rich, ease of use would be great for an older person, or someone not interested in a lot of Android features. Minutes can be purchased almost anywhere, but get costly if you use the phone a great deal.

Bought this for my mother in law so we and her friends can call her. It's a great and simple prepaid phone without all the bells and whistles of newer, touch screen phones. It has everything she needs without being too complicated for her to handle. Topping up each month is easy. Would highly recommend this phone!

Phone is small & easy to use. However money applied did not last not even 2weeks

All I wanted was a phone that works that's what this is. you can't beat the price I've had it for two months and have no complaints.

The phone is great! The Verizon service is not. I have had difficulty paying for more minutes and cannot get to talk to a real person at Verizon.

It was the best buy for me to buy this phone at the store. I went to Verizon on line and the cost was way over what I paid in the store, plus I used my Best Buy points. A real BEST BUY

Wanted a flip phone for my kids to use while traveling away at relatives and friends this summer. A no-contract easy to operate phone is what I wanted. I didn't even have to show them how to operate it or put in contacts. They could easily figure it out on their own. I can even re-activate it at a later date since I only needed it for a month this summer.

Purchased this phone for my mother inlaw. She had the Gusto 2 it got into a fight with her automatic recliner. Recliner won . So she needed a replcement. Easy for her to use. Simple. She loves it. Plus it worked with her old plan didnt have to change a thing.

My husband has been a cell phone holdout, but it has been becoming clear that he needs his own. Being assigned to jury duty recently it was the push he needed to go ahead and get one. This Samsung phone reminds me of the one I had about 10 years ago, but is perfect for staying connected when on the go. It was easy to program with his main contacts, and pretty intuitive to figure out. The exception is texting; now that is a real pain for anything but the most basic message. With Verizon, it is about $15/mo. It was about the cheapest plan we could come up with, and he is satisfied.

My boyfriend did not want a phone with Internet and he loves this phone! It's simple and easy to use and you can drop it a million times and it stays whole!

This is an excellent basic feature phone with great battery life and service in areas where other handsets fall apart.

Phone was for my wife and so far its been a very good phone for an emergency or just for her to be able to stay in contact during the day. It's nice not to have a contract for a phone with limited usage.

Bought for teenager. Perfect to keep in touch and inexpensive service plans available.
