If you are not a smart phone user, then this is a best phone. It works very good.

The connection is pretty good on this phone and sound quality is excellent. I had never texted before, and did not realize how important a true keyboard is. It is slow to text using the phone pad, the salesperson did warn me - but I had to be stubborn and try. I like the large print and ease of use.

Great phone for someone who does not use a cell phone very often.

Purchased the phone because I have an iPhone thru work, but did not want give up my phone number I have had for 20 years. Great for a second phone and can be replaced at low cost if lost or broken.

Cheapest plan around, my bill averages $10 a month, has Internet too(not very good though.

The customer service was nothing less than awesome. The gentleman that helped me went way above and beyond to get the phone set up for my mom. This young man is the reason I am going back to Best Buy to purchase my next IPhone.

All I wanted was a simple basic flip phone that was easy to use and this phone fit the bill so to speak. So far it works great and the inexpensive plan was perfect too.

I've recently purchased this and the LG 440G to test out No-Contract phones and see what works best for me as an emergency phone. Just like the LG 440G, this phone is very passable for an emergency phone or people who can't afford smart phones. I didn't have any issues with the phone in the limited time I spent with it. Solid functionality for a non smart phone, durable, and calls him through clearly. So far, so good.

I prefer the compactness, ruggedness, and portability of the basic flip-phone. I really liked the design, the features, and the functions of this phone. I also liked the $8.99 price. That all came to an end after one outstanding month of use when the screen displayed a steady Verizon logo on a solid red screen and quit functioning. Attempts to bring it back to a working phone (by Verizon and Best Buy), proved futile. I now have an LG flip that cost $49 from Verizon. Not as excited about the LG's features and functions, but hoping it proves to be worth the extra $$$.

For an inexpensive flip phone it is great for just calls/text. With bluetooth and speakerphone button on side it is a great value. Phone at Verizon store/web was like double the price at Bestbuy. Its great if you happen to misplace your phone ever once in awhile. No big deal just purchase another one. Probably cheaper than buying a replacement battery.

It does the trick for a temporary phone until I get my iPhone fixed. Basic, nothing fancy.

Overall phone is good except for small button that automatically turns the phone to call forwarding and you advertly cannot receive calls if you are not aware of this. Good phone for low price.

Good Phone, but a pain to text with. If you plan to text alot, go for a 'smarter' phone. The reception is good, and it is durable.

For the price the phone has a number of features that the more expensive ones have and I am very satisfied with it.
