Excellent little sound bar. The volume can go quite loud for its size. Very easy to hook up with a Samsung tv if you have Bluetooth on your tv but sounds a little better with hdmi connection. I was impressed with this sound bar even though I paid $229 because now it’s on sale for $179 so now is your chance to get a great deal! Highly recommended especially if you have a small to medium room. My room is quite large and I have high ceilings so it is a little echoey in my living room but still sounds quite good for the money. Surprisingly the music sounds great on this sound bar which is usually not the case on other low priced Samsung sound bars I have owned in the past. A big plus for me.

This sound bar + sub sounds awesome in my game room/office. I wanted something that would fill my room with sound when watching movies/playing games as well as as provide increased bass for when I listen to music. This accomplishes that better than I expected. Provides full sound, higher highs/lower lows. The sound bar fits perfectly between the legs of my 55” TV. I haven’t even used 25% of the max volume yet so I imagine this would work just fine for a bigger room. If you’re not needing to fill out a massive room with sound I would 10/10 recommend this. For the money it’s a great product.

I rarely leave reviews. The reviews I read had me slightly worried. Wow. You can't tell me nothing. This baby rocks. Everything I was hoping for. Set up was a breeze! Spent one hour unboxing, mounting, changed TV sound to HDMI Arc out and Bam! Easy BT setup. Big Bass. My LG TV remote controls the sound and if I want to alter the bass or change to BT, etc., the soundbar has a visible display that shows you what to do. There is zero lag, zero static, zero issues. Best purchase I've made in years.

Nice boost to audio whether it’s clearer speech or enhanced treble for music and nice bass with the subwoofer. If you’re looking for a reasonably priced sound bar that gets the job done in a 100sqft space, this is a great option. I’m sure it would better with the satellite speakers for surround sound.

I bought this soundbar system for a TV for our home office, and I'm very happy with it. It sounds great, was easy to set up, and plays music from my phone via Bluetooth that sounds just as good as through a stereo system. It's very affordable and a good value for the price.

The Samsung sound bar and speaker is really great for movie nights it’s comes with different noise settings that allow you to comfortably enjoy a movie, listen to music, you can adjust the treble and bass as well, each setting is unique some setting make more sound on the bar like if someone is talking and singing others settings make more bass and make it more like a movie theater setting

Excellent soundbar! The subwoofer gives me the bass I look for and it is adjustable from the remote control! It is not like having a pair of 12" subs in the trunk but it has good thump like a 10" sub. The soundbar controller has its own button where you can increase or decrease the bass level -6 to 6. It is nice that it also has the capability to expand the speakers with the optional auxiliary wireless speakers. I have yet to get them but to know that I can turn this from a 2.1 to a 4.1 is awesome. The unit does have an HDMI input so I have the Nintendo Switch plugged into it and the HDMI out to the Samsung TV for the ARC function. Definitely a great sound system that will not disappoint.

I was looking for an affordable replacement soundbar with a separate subwoofer. I have a higher-end Samsung for the living room, so I wanted something simple for my bedroom. This was hooked up in less than 5 minutes, and sounded absolutely better than I ever expected! The sound is crystal clear on maximum volume which is extremely loud, with no distortion. OMG, and the bass.. Wow. This system thumps throughout the entire house and even outside! It sounds perfect whether it's playing through my ONN brand TV watching movies, or listening to music via Bluetooth. I am extremely happy with my purchase! Oh, and it's definitely worth the price.

the soundbar and sub are my new favorite thing. the tv sound is alright but pairing it with this AMAZING! love that you can control the bass, it sounds like a movie theater in my living room. it’s bluetooth so i can also connect my phone via bluetooth to play music when im not watching tv so now i don’t even need to own a portable speaker.

For a entry level sound bar it’s great! Its stupid easy to set up, pre-programmed sound mixes help you find what’s best for you and if you don’t like anything you can make your own mix. Plus you can add other wireless Samsung speakers when you have extra cash to make a full surround sound system. I bought this along with a Samsung 4K QDOLD and man the 2 together is like peanut butter and jelly. Highly recommend if you want to experience a sound bar and subwoofer without a hi price tag. Its much better than stock speakers your tv comes with. Some cons are the sound bar doesn’t have up firing speaker’s, the remote isn’t great and it’s really made for smaller living rooms bedrooms etc. but that’s my opinion, it’s nice enough I wouldn’t get rid of it even after I upgraded I would just move it to a different TV. So in conclusion, highly recommend for a starter Soundsystem!

The Samsung HW-B550 Soundbar is super cool! It makes movies and games sound amazing with its special Dolby Audio and DTS Virtual:X technology. Plus, it's easy to set up and looks awesome in black. The subwoofer gives really cool booming bass sounds, making everything feel more exciting. If you want to make your TV sound better, this soundbar is the way to go!

I've been using the Samsung HW-B550 2.1ch Soundbar for nearly 1.5 months, and I'm quite impressed. The sound quality is really good, offering a richer and more immersive audio experience. The bass is surprisingly deep and powerful, adding a satisfying punch to movies and music. One of the standout features is the seamless integration with my TV via eARC. This allows me to control the soundbar's volume and audio settings directly from my TV remote.

I purchased for my home gym and it has really good sound. The sub is powerful. I could not get the optic cable to work with Samsung tv but HDMI works. Samsung customer service stated that not all work with optic cable. I find that odd since it has the port and came with an optic line. Otherwise I am happy and it does what I need.

Got this for bedroom to make up for lacking tv speakers that were made even worse when tv was wall mounted. This soundbar for the orice is great. Adss great bass, bluetooth for listening to music or podcasts while cleaning. Fills the room and sounds great on all types of movies, especially action.

I use it outdoor a still it sound very loud, At maximum volumen the audio quality is excellent, no distortion. I can adjust the bass level to a very strong bass. The speaker also looks pretty when installed.

I can't believe I went as long as I did without this in my life. The sound quality is unreal. I live in an apartment building, so I can really only use it with the subwoofer on during the day. I'm a night owl, so you'd think this would mean that it wouldn't get a lot of use, but that's not the case here. I've been waking up earlier so I can listen to music the way it was intended before my night shifts. I know it's a strange thing to say about a soundbar & subwoofer but really had actually improved my quality of life due to the aforementioned change in sleeping habits. 10/10 recommend. Definitely will be purchased the rear speakers that go with this model when I have the money.

This one had better reviews than all the others i searched for in my price range.. i saw it had a 97% recommendation rate so i got it. Very easy to install to my samsung tv and it sounds AMAZING!! It completely changes your TV experience. Great bass in the subwoofer too!

I previoisly had a Bose soundbar for my television for the livingroom and it was ok, but didnt have a clear enough sound, often would come in and out, and would have to be at the highest volume to watch movies or gane on. I decided to upgrade and checked the reviews first online, then went to see it perform in person. I was very impressed and made the purchase. I set it up which was easy to do, and am very happy with the sound and quality, not to mention the price! Great for movies, music, and gaming! I would definitely recommend for those looking for good quality without burning a hole in your wallet!!
