Used for TV and it is a definite upgrade from the TV speakers. Clarity with voice mode on is very good. Item purchased on sale so I couldn't go wrong with the price.

Thank you for your purchase and review of the HW-B550 Soundbar. Your feedback is very important to us about your audio experience. There are a few things you can do to optimize your soundbar to best fit your preferences.
By pressing the SOUND MODE button, you can select the desired sound mode.
SURROUND SOUND: Provides a wider sound field than standard.
BASS BOOST MODE: Sound field mode with emphasis on bass sound.
GAME MODE: Provides stereoscopic sound to immerse you in the action while gaming.
ADAPTIVE MODE: Analyzes the content in real time and automatically provides an optimal sound field based on the characteristics of the content.
DTS VIRTUAL:X MODE: Immersive 3D sound from any content.
STANDARD MODE: Outputs the original sound.
By pressing the TONE CONTROL button, you can adjust the volume of the treble or bass sound. Press the button to select TREBLE or BASS and then adjust the volume between -6~+6 by using the Up/Down buttons.

Thank you for taking a moment to review the HW-B550 Soundbar.
If the video on the TV and audio from the soundbar are not synchronized, press the SOUND CONTROL button on the soundbar remote, until you see AUDIO SYNC on the display. You can then set the audio delay between 0~300 milliseconds by using the Up/Down buttons.
Additionally, please make sure your soundbar is using the latest firmware version. You can update the firmware version of your soundbar by using the SmartThings App or a USB device. If available, you may also want to update the firmware Version of your TV which may feature audio delay improvements.
If you continue to experience audio delay, and are connected wirelessly, please use the included HDMI cable to connect the soundbar to the TV. Using a wired connection instead of wireless often eliminates the audio delay entirely and improves the user experience.

(Make sure the Sound mode is set to “STANDARD”.
Additionally, using the WOOFER button on the remote, you can adjust the subwoofer’s volume between -6 to +6 by toggling the button up or down. To set the subwoofer volume level to 0, press the button down.

Best Buy going down hill

I purchased the Samsung Sound Bar which I was excited about. The package came on-time though the Box had obvious been opened and repackaged the PowerSupply for the Soundbar bass tube was missing and the power supply for the bar was for a Bose System not Samsung. I attempted to use the Customer Service Chatbot twice only to be disconnected and got no where…I called the BesBuy Customer Service which said there was nothing they could do and Since it was an openBox it that I would have to go the individual store…They could not provide me with the information which was frustrating because I ordered the item from online and had it shipped to me…I found knock off Wires on Amazon which ranged from $20 to $35 I stated if they can credit me this amount this would make the deal whole…the customer service rep refused to assist me and stared to return it to any store…So I wasted two hours of my life waiting on hold and now I get to drive an hour and half to correct a mistake that they made! Terrible service! Thanks for nothing bestbuy
