You will mot be disappointed. The sound bar isnt the loudest until you get to like 50 % but for the price you cannot complain. Im impressed and will definitely buy more for the rest of my bedrooms.

Sounds clean. The "surround sound" is very meh, but on a cheaper budget surround sound on something like this will at best be meh. The "display" if you want to call it that, is annoyingly hidden behind the cover so it can be hard to read especially at off angles, additionally the display isnt very big. Navigating various settings is a little annoying until you get it figured out. But overall id recommend this

It does an amazing job at mimicking a movie theater sound in a small to midsize room. It has a powerful deep bass, decent mid range, and really high pitch. Tweeters or high range. I have it in a 13'6"/13'6" bedroom and the Bass vibrates the walls.

The sound quality is really good and the bass is great. Really easy to set up but you’ll need to purchase an hdmi cable separately.

Your new HW-B550 Soundbar features powerful bass with a 6.5” wireless subwoofer & Adaptive Sound Lite which optimizes the sound based on the content.
You can try adjusting audio performance to your liking by pressing the SOUND MODE button on your soundbar remote, and then selecting the desired sound effect by choosing STANDARD, SURROUND SOUND, BASS BOOST, GAME, ADAPTIVE, or DTS VIRTUAL:X.
You can also press the Sound Control button on the remote (looks like a gear) to adjust TREBLE and BASS. Press and hold the Sound Control button for about 5 seconds to adjust the sound for each of seven frequency bands. (Set sound mode to standard)

Disappointed with remote!

We drove over 75 miles to nearest Best Buy to purchase. The system sounds great, easy to hook up. The remote control has an issue and will not adjust volume or bass level, it just goes to mute. Took to a Best Buy and all they could do was want to send full system back along with remote. Aggravating. No we have to call Samsung and work out resolution.

Thank you for purchasing the HW-B550 Soundbar. I am sorry to see your frustrations with the provided Soundbar remote.
The volume and woofer buttons have two different functions. The button can be pressed in or it will act like a toggle switch where you will push it forward or pull it back.
To increase/decrease the volume and bass you will push the specific button forward or pull it back. To mute or unmute the volume and bass you will push in the button.

Amazing Sound

I was looking at a few different options, but this one stuck out the most from a price stand point. When we hooked it up, the sound blew us away! Compared to similar sound systems, this one is no joke! Definitely will be buying this for my living room setup as well!

Good Soundbar

No troubles pairing the soundbar with the sub. Sounds great with ample bass which is what I like. Like that it came with the brackets for mounting on the wall which is what I needed. Overall great soundbar for the price.

Worth the purchase

The sound is great and I like that the speaker gives it extra sound boost. It did not come with a remote so it made it difficult to connect wouh my Samsung TV. The sales associate said it should connect easily but it didn't. I had to go back to the store and a sales associate gave me an old remote that I could use and it worked. However when I recently purchased my new TV I didn't need the remote it did connect automatically.

But this bad boy changed our movie game by so much without breaking the bank. It's been the perfect addition to our home theater system and it looks easy enough to put add-ons if we want a more surround sound effect in the future.

The prices varied greatly. I did not want to pay a lot, but get a lot for my money as any consumer does. This absolutely fit the bill. It has wonderful sound quality we are very happy with the purchase and price point for this system. We never watch a movie or House of the Dragon without it!
