Quit working at 22 months, Great up until then.

Loved this unit while it worked. After ownership of almost 2 years, the unit will not power on. I went through all of the videos and instructions for troubleshooting, confirmed power at outlet and tested that 24volts is getting to unit. The unit sells for almost $400 and I had hoped it would last a little longer that 22 months.

Ok soundbar. I'm still trying to figure out how to get the sound I expect but not able to find enough information. It did sync well with the Samsung TV I purchased but not really happy with this yet. It may get better the more I try and figure it out
Thank you for sharing your experiences with the HW-B650 Soundbar. I am sorry to see that your initial time with the unit has not been ideal.
You can optimize your audio performance to your liking by pressing the SOUND MODE button on your soundbar remote, and then selecting the desired sound effect by choosing SURROUND SOUND, BASS BOOST, GAME, ADAPTIVE, DTS VIRTUAL:X, STANDARD.
By pressing the TONE CONTROL button, you can adjust the volume of the treble or bass sound. Press the button to select TREBLE or BASS and then adjust the volume between -6~+6 by using the Up/Down buttons.
Press and hold the SOUND CONTROL button for about 5 seconds to adjust the sound for each frequency band. 150Hz, 300Hz, 600Hz, 1.2kHz, 2.5kHz, 5kHz, and 10kHz are selectable using the Left/Right buttons and each can be adjusted to a setting between -6 to +6 using the Up/Down buttons. (Make sure the Sound mode is set to “STANDARD”.
Additionally, using the WOOFER button on the remote, you can adjust the subwoofer’s volume between -6 to +6 by toggling the button up or down. To set the subwoofer volume level to 0, press the button down.
To assist you in the functions and settings of your new soundbar, you can download the full user manual directly from Samsung’s website by clicking “Support” in the top right corner. Then go to “Manuals & Software” > “TVs & Home Theater” > “Home Theater” > “Sound Bars”. From there, you can select the HW-B650 under Standard.

It has to be restarted everytime we turn the TV on.

Here are a few things you can check to resolve the ARC issue: 1) Make sure the TV has the latest software Version
2) Try setting the digital audio output setting on the TV to PCM
3) Try a different HDMI cable. The cable should be a high-speed HDMI cable capable of 4K/30Hz

Sound great love it it's my second favorite dream good

MUCH better than the tv speakers but NOT a great system. Subwoofer definitely needs improvement and center is average. Sound separation is non existent. But for the price I am somewhat satisfied.

It's a good sound bar, not the best but it works well for the money. I wished the display leds were easier to see and not partially hidden my the mesh cover. Does Samsung actually try using the products they manufacture?
