I truly am blown away by this soundbar. I prefer a full home theater set up with a receiver and dedicated speakers, but this one does an amazing job for the price. The sub has a good punch to it, the speakers are loud and clear, and the virtual surround sound is surprisingly accurate. The remote is also simple and easy to use.
I really can't think of anything negative to say about this soundbar, especially for the price. As I mentioned, I'm more of a dedicated home theater person so if that's your thing, you might be surprised by this soundbar

I purchased this sound bar set to direct the sound forward due to joyous playing sound my grandkids bring when visiting.
The reason I gave 3 stars...
The soundbar is pretty good. Addition of the Sub Woof is awesome when you have channels/movies that have bass sound signal. It does what I expected it to do.
My only concern is that a few random times while watching a program, we lost sound (yes, during important dialogs too). After evaluating the bar closer, the sound bar is doing some kind of diagnostic or reset. I am not sure what is causing this, but it has occurred several times. When I find out, I will attempt to update my review.

There are a few things you can do to troubleshoot your Soundbar before contacting Samsung Customer Support. First, update your soundbar, by downloading the firmware directly from Samsung’s website by clicking “Support” in the top right corner. Then go to “Manuals & Software” > “TVs & Home Theater” > “Home Theater” > “Sound Bars”. From there, you can select the HW-B650 under Standard. Download the update and install it via a USB thumb stick to your soundbar. If you need additional help, there are how-to instructions on this page. Please know that Samsung Customer Service is here to assist as well.
If you are still experiencing this issue after doing the software update, then try doing a soft reset. This is where you will unplug the soundbar and subwoofer for roughly 30 seconds from the power outlet. After this time, plug everything back in again and see if this resolved your issue.
Lastly, if you need to, do a hard reset. With the Soundbar on, press the + & - (Volume UP/DOWN) buttons on the body at the same time for at least 5 seconds. “INIT OK” appears on the display and then the Soundbar is reset.

Just bought this sound bar. Sounds really good. Enhance the watching movie experience. Solid bass and clear sound.

Setup was very easy. While I could have gone with a more involved speaker setup, this suits my needs perfectly and was far less of a headache to source and set up.

This sound bar gave a day/night difference experience when watching my tv in my room, I don't watch full movies on my room but after I installed this bar now is totally worth it.

Was very impressed how great it sound. The sale person was very helpful in helping us pick the right one. I wear hearing aid so it hard for me to hear things went there are other sound coming out of the speakers. This sound system work very well as the voices that come out are very clear to understand. I would recommend this system to anybody that has trouble hearing. Plus I would to the store get help and listings for yourself.
