It’s ok. I contemplated returning. I previously had a Vizio surround sound that I absolutely love. The only reason I switched to a Samsung surround sound is because I bought a Samsung tv. I like the sound on the Vizio better.
We appreciate you taking a few moments to review the Samsung HW-B650 Soundbar.
You can optimize your audio performance to your liking by pressing the SOUND MODE button on your soundbar remote, and then selecting the desired sound effect by choosing SURROUND SOUND, BASS BOOST, GAME, ADAPTIVE, DTS VIRTUAL:X, STANDARD.
By pressing the TONE CONTROL button, you can adjust the volume of the treble or bass sound. Press the button to select TREBLE or BASS and then adjust the volume between -6~+6 by using the Up/Down buttons.
Press and hold the SOUND CONTROL button for about 5 seconds to adjust the sound for each frequency band. 150Hz, 300Hz, 600Hz, 1.2kHz, 2.5kHz, 5kHz, and 10kHz are selectable using the Left/Right buttons and each can be adjusted to a setting between -6 to +6 using the Up/Down buttons. (Make sure the Sound mode is set to “STANDARD”.
Additionally, using the WOOFER button on the remote, you can adjust the subwoofer’s volume between -6 to +6 by toggling the button up or down. To set the subwoofer volume level to 0, press the button down.
With the optional SWA-9200S Wireless Rear Speaker Kit connected you can adjust the volume by using the provided Soundbar remote. Press CH LEVEL and select REAR LEVEL, then use the Up/Down buttons to adjust the volume within a -6 to +6 range.

This item is ok. The clarity in voice over the background is nice. Little difficult to understand how to adjust the bass and treble settings. Like my previous Samsung sound bar. I don’t like the little viewing area to adjust the volume and other settings.

It's an okay buy. My only problem is when I shut off the tv and eventually turn it back on I have to reconnect the sound bar to the tv via shutting off and on my wi-fi so that the sound bar picks up. Another thing I can't have 2 bluetooth devices connected. Although my fairly new samsung tv states that I can.

If you are referring to Multi-Output Audio feature that your TV has, this is something that allows you to connect a Bluetooth device such as a pair of headphones or hearing-aids and also have the audio playing from the TV speakers.
The HW-B650 Soundbar has a Multi-Connection feature which will allow for two different smart devices to be connected to it at one time. This allows for two people to each have their phone connected to the soundbar, and can play songs from their phones without having to disconnect one phone and re-connect the other.

The maximum transmission distance of the main unit’s wireless signal is about 32.8 ft (10 m), but may vary depending on your operating environment. Also, if a device that uses the same wireless frequency, such as a Wi-Fi router, is near the Soundbar, interference may cause some sound interruption.

First got an opened box unit. Didn't come with remote and thats the only way to connect sub if it does not auto connect which it would not. Had to bring back and bought new one.

Very nice soundbar in a good price point. Definitely enhances the sound from our Samsung TV.
