This sound bar sounds amazing! After years of seeing using just my TV sound, I finally gave in and bought a soundbar. I was able to get this <$200 and its worth every penny. The sound is clear and the subwoofer is warm and fills the room. Last night I watched Mariah Carey xMas special and turned up the volume. It felt just like you were there in concert. Wait until its on sale to get a better value.

It seems that there has been a bit of confusion on the wireless technology that the HW-B650 Soundbar has. You can connect to this Soundbar using Bluetooth, but it does not have the ability to connect using Wi-Fi.

Love the quality of this item. Great sound. Great vocals and the sub isnt overbearing
Thank you for purchasing the HW-B650 Soundbar. I am sorry to see that your out-of-box experience has been less than ideal. If your TV is compatible, use a brand new HDMI cable as this will offer you the best audio and user experience.
You can optimize your audio performance to your liking by pressing the SOUND MODE button on your Soundbar remote, and then selecting the desired sound effect by choosing SURROUND SOUND, BASS BOOST, GAME, ADAPTIVE, DTS VIRTUAL:X, STANDARD.
By pressing the TONE CONTROL button, you can adjust the volume of the treble or bass sound. Press the button to select TREBLE or BASS and then adjust the volume between -6~+6 by using the Up/Down buttons.
Press and hold the SOUND CONTROL button for about 5 seconds to adjust the sound for each frequency band. 150Hz, 300Hz, 600Hz, 1.2kHz, 2.5kHz, 5kHz, and 10kHz are selectable using the Left/Right buttons and each can be adjusted to a setting between -6 to +6 using the Up/Down buttons. (Make sure the Sound mode is set to “STANDARD”).
Additionally, using the WOOFER button on the remote, you can adjust the subwoofer’s volume between -6 to +6 by toggling the button up or down. To set the subwoofer volume level to 0, press the button down.
Lastly, press the CH LEVEL button so you can adjust the volume of each speaker. CENTER LEVEL can be adjusted using the UP/DOWN buttons from -6 to +6. If you need more help, Samsung is here for you.

This sound bar works pretty good. The sound does cut off once in a while, but it may be my tv that's the problem? The directions for us with this are not as clear and complete as I would like it.

I could not get it hooked up. Fortunately I have geek squad so they came and helped me. I wish I would have just gotten the sound bar as I do t really hear any sound out of the wolfer

I am having a hard time trying to change the volume up or down. I don’t think the instructions are clear enough for people my age. (84) we have not grown up with the new technology. I would not recommend this for anyone my age.

Please know that many of the buttons on your remote have multiple functions. For example, the Volume button is moved UP/DOWN to adjust volume, and to MUTE the sound, you need to PRESS it in. Pressing it a second time will unmute.

Since I have several Best Buy purchased Samsung electronics I expected quality products and service. And, once again, that’s what I got with my new Samsung sound bar!
