The soundbar is okay. It does not have a lot of base. My last soundbar sounded much better. I am going to have to upgrade this soundbar to feel satisfied.

The subwoofer can roughly be placed 32 feet away from the Soundbar. This can be less based on if there is anything in between the subwoofer and Soundbar such as furniture or walls.

It was on sale or else I wouldn't have purchased it. Great sound!! Was difficult to connect but I think part of the problem was my tv. The only other negative is that the sound bar will disconnect from tv the reconnect dropping the sound for about 5 seconds. still trouble shooting the problem. I think my wireless router may be to close
Thank you for sharing your experiences with the HW-B650 Soundbar. I’m sorry for the difficulties with your soundbar setup. We understand your frustrations and are here to help.
If you are using a Bluetooth connection from your soundbar to the TV this can be interrupted by other wireless devices that are too close to your soundbar. It can also be effected by metal objects such as furniture that the soundbar may be on or near.
We recommend using a HDMI cable for the best audio and user experience connected to the TV ARC port of your TV. There are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot your issues if you are using a HDMI cable.
First off try doing a hard reset. Turn your soundbar ON, press and hold + & - (Volume UP/DOWN) buttons on your unit itself for roughly five seconds. You will see "INIT OK" scroll across the LED display of your soundbar.
If you are still experiencing issues after moving your Wi-Fi router and the hard reset, follow these instructions to do a software update.
1.Go to Samsung's website and then click on the “Support” option in the upper right corner. 2.Click on “Manuals & Software” from the pop-up list > TVs & Home Theater > Home Theater > Select your model. 2. Download the firmware file (USB type). 3. Unzip the file to create a folder with the file name. 4. Store the created folder in a USB and then connect it to the Soundbar.
