    Good soundbar for the price

    Good soundbar for the price and a huge step up from using your TV's built in speakers, even high end one's like the samsung s89c I have. The only limitations I've noticed were that the sound felt a bit too one directional at times and lacking in 3d effect (but this also depends on the specific content), and the other drawback was that there seemed to be noticeably more latency compared to using TV speakers. I've turned off as many post processing settings as I could and managed to reduce latency to a very acceptable amount. However, once I turn on settings like intelligent mode, especially in addition to adaptive mode and dts virtual, the latency again becomes noticeable to me, mainly in the context of lip sync. I imagine most lay people may not notice any latency though, I'm just very sensitive to it. For that reason, I kind of feel forced to stick to the bare bones settings which may not sound quite as good.

    Absolute best soundbar I have ever owned! It paired perfectly with my new Samsung 4k tv. Very easy to set up. People compliment the sound quality constantly. I literally feel like Im sitting in a theatre when watching movies or TV shows! Thanks Best Buy for a great sale price to boot.

    We have two of this model, one in our travel trailer and one in a bedroom. The clear voice mode helps hear dialog without having to crank up the volume. The sun adds just enough bass to liven up a movie and night mode keeps you from “ thumping” others in the house trying to sleep.

    Defective Product

    Subwoofer is defective, blue light is one indicating that it's connected to thr soundbar yet nothing plays out of it, we reset the soundbar 3 times trying to make it work but nothing worked.

    Awesome for the price but there's some audio lag

    I like the sound and the sub so far and it was really simple to use and set up. I've never set up home theater equipment before and this was a breeze. Even the sub automatically connected when it was turned on. My only concern is that there seems to be significant audio lag when I connect my PS5 to my Samsung Series 7 and the Series 7 to the sound bar via the TV's eARC and sound bar's ARC. I've tried many settings and nothing seems to remedy the issue. I'm hoping I can fix it but if I can't I might have to return it, the PS5 is the only thing I use on this TV and if there's gonna be audio sync issues then it won't work out for me which sucks because this is a really good buy :/

      Hello,

      Thank you for reviewing the Samsung HW-B650 Soundbar! If the video on the TV and audio from the Soundbar are not synchronized, select SYNC in SOUND CONTROL (looks like a gear), and then set the audio delay between 0~300 milliseconds by using the Up/Down buttons.

      The TU7000 Samsung TVs have a feature called Audio Pass-Through. You can utilize this feature on your Samsung TV to correct your audio-sync issue.

      On your TV go to: Settings > Audio > Expert Settings > Digital Audio Output Format > Pass-Through

    Easy setup with little to no issues. The syncing of the soundbar was difficult until I found the button. The remote is self-explanatory and easy to use. The sound quality is nice, but if you want the best surround sound this isn't for you.

    I am really glad that I did some research based on my budget. Can’t believe that this setup is so clear, clean and crisp with a deep base. I highly recommend this product especially if you have a Samsung TV with Bluetooth capability

    Set up was super easy and the audio quality is excellent, prety much everything you could want in a sound bar. It does not come with an HDMI cable so you will need to get one to hook it up to the TV.

      If Geek Squad is unable to assist with improving your overall audio experience. Use this tips below to help optimize your soundbar.

      When you press the SOUND MODE button on the provided soundbar remote, you are able to select the pre-equalized sound modes by choosing SURROUND SOUND, BASS BOOST, GAME, ADAPTIVE, DTS VIRTUAL:X, STANDARD.

      By pressing the TONE CONTROL button, you can adjust the volume of the treble or bass sound. Press the button to select TREBLE or BASS and then adjust the volume between -6~+6 by using the Up/Down buttons.

      Press and hold the (Sound Control) button for about 5 seconds to adjust the sound for each frequency band. 150Hz, 300Hz, 600Hz, 1.2kHz, 2.5kHz, 5kHz, and 10kHz are selectable using the Left/Right buttons and each can be adjusted to a setting between -6 to +6 using the Up/Down buttons. (Make sure the Sound mode is set to “STANDARD”.

      Lastly, using the WOOFER button on the remote, you can adjust the subwoofer’s volume between -6 to +6 by toggling the button up or down. To set the subwoofer volume level to 0, press the button down.
