Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought it to pair with my Samsung S90c OLED, and I was surprised how a Samsung product did not work so well with a Samsung product. It's great for music and action, but comes up extremely short for watching movies and TV shows that have a lot of dialogue. Voices are low, and easily get drowned out by other sounds going on in the scene. At that point it's better to use my TV speakers. From what I have read, switching the audio output channel from PCM to DTS Neo 2.5 helps. However, my S90c doesn't have that option. Only has the PCM channel and auto. Bummer because it has exactly what I was looking for. I don't plan on keeping the S90c in my living area, so hopefully my next TV works better with it. I will also keep reading on maybe a firmware update solving this issue on my TV side and or soundbar side. Honestly might be a return.

We appreciate you taking a few moments to review the HW-B650 Soundbar.
You can optimize your audio performance to your liking by pressing the SOUND MODE button on your soundbar remote, and then selecting the desired sound effect by choosing SURROUND SOUND, BASS BOOST, GAME, ADAPTIVE, DTS VIRTUAL:X, STANDARD.
By pressing the TONE CONTROL button, you can adjust the volume of the treble or bass sound. Press the button to select TREBLE or BASS and then adjust the volume between -6~+6 by using the Up/Down buttons.
Press and hold the SOUND CONTROL button for about 5 seconds to adjust the sound for each frequency band. 150Hz, 300Hz, 600Hz, 1.2kHz, 2.5kHz, 5kHz, and 10kHz are selectable using the Left/Right buttons and each can be adjusted to a setting between -6 to +6 using the Up/Down buttons. (Make sure the Sound mode is set to “STANDARD”.
Additionally, using the WOOFER button on the remote, you can adjust the subwoofer’s volume between -6 to +6 by toggling the button up or down. To set the subwoofer volume level to 0, press the button down.
With the optional SWA-9200S Wireless Rear Speaker Kit connected you can adjust the volume by using the provided Soundbar remote. Press CH LEVEL and select REAR LEVEL, then use the Up/Down buttons to adjust the volume within a -6 to +6 range.

Every so often the sound will drop and go to my tv speakers. I have it connected correctly to my ARC hdmi port. For the price this soundbar and sub combo is amazing

Sound on tv was just not clear but when sound bar was installed, the tv and soundbar weren"t matching. I bought this with the extra warranty. I took back to best but and was told need to return to factory, I am a retired Firefighter with severe Hearing loss the sound bar helps others watching TV from getting ears blown out. Loyal customer to Best Buy for years, not sure about future.

If the video on the TV and audio from the Soundbar are not synchronized, select SYNC in SOUND CONTROL (looks like a gear), and then set the audio delay between 0~300 milliseconds by using the Up/Down buttons.
