If you want sound better than the TV, then this is a plus. But if you really want that home theater "BASS" & "WOW." This is not the soundbar you are looking for. I recommend upgrading to the Q series from Samsung. I returned the HW-B650,and uprgraded to the Samsung - Q-Series 9.1.4ch needless to say I completely happy.
