It's a better sound that TV, but don't have to much bass.

I have this hooked up to a Samsung tv with the supplied HDMI cable. It constantly goes back to the tv speaker on its own. Now the tv doesn’t even recognize it. I tried another cable, no luck. I now have it hooked up with an optical cord. Sound cuts out every 10 seconds or so for a split second. This unit came with the worst instructions I’ve ever seen. Samsung support was useless. I’m back to using the tv speaker. I’m very frustrated with this purchase.

Disappointed. Bought this soundbar since u can add a sub woofer later. All in one soundbars have too much bass. Can not adjust there's no working equalizer.

To optimize your audio experience, please try the various sound modes this model offers. Press the SOUND MODE button on your remote, and then select your desired sound effect: DTS VIRTUAL:X, STANDARD, MUSIC, or ADAPTIVE.
When you press the CH LEVEL button on the remote, you can adjust the volume the CENTER LEVEL using the UP/DOWN buttons between -6 to +6. If the Rear Speakers (sold separately) are connected, the setting “Rear Level” is supported
You can further adjust TREBLE or BASS (in this order) via the TONE CONTROL button using the UP/DOWN buttons on the remote between -6 to +6.
Press and hold the SOUND CONTROL button for about 5 seconds to adjust the sound for each frequency band. 150Hz, 300Hz, 600Hz, 1.2kHz, 2.5kHz, 5kHz, and 10kHz (in this order) are selectable using the Left/Right buttons and each can be adjusted to a setting between -6 to +6 using the Up/Down buttons. (Make sure the Sound mode is set to "Standard".
