Returned sound bar to you and bought a new one from you

I didn't know I had to purchase another part to use my headphones to work and also I have problems with the voice being off from the people talking. I was told to purchase another part to get it to work. not happy with all the extra cost. If I new this from the start maybe I wouldn't by the sound bar. It would have been nice if they told me that when I purchased it.

To help with any audio sync issues, follow the steps below. Press the SOUND CONTROL button (which looks like a gear) until you hear SYNC and then set the audio delay between 0~300 milliseconds by using the Up/Down buttons on the provided Soundbar remote.
Also, go in to your TV settings to find the Digital Audio Output Format within Sound or Expert Settings. From here make sure that it is set to Pass-Through if this is an option. This will allow the TV to help correct any audio sync issues you may be experiencing.

Very good soundbar . Made me realize that the tv sound wasn’t that great

Worst customer service

I had bought a refurbished model online and it sais my local store had it in stock for pick up. Turns out it did not. Set up option for one day shipping. This was a Tuesday, said should arrive by thursday. Thursday comes aling and tracking number said it had not shipped. Contacted chat support. And yol them the issue, while it took for ever for reaponses. By close to the end of the chat, the fed ex tracking number uodates and aaid it shipment woukd arrive Monday. I had a business flight out on Sunday and could not wait till Monday as i would be out of town. Instead of trying to cancel and getting me a refund the agent promised me it would arrive that same day Thursday. Even though FedEx tracking number said Monday. I brough up my concern again, and agent assured it woukd areice that day. He aaid to contact them back if it hadent. About an hour and a half later the Best Buy text updater sent me a message that said there was a delay in shipment. I checked the tracking number, and bow it showed Tuesday. Got back on chat to advise my concerns of not gettingshipment till tuesday and the agent assured me it would arrice that same day again, to wait till end of day. I then asked for a supervisor and was transfered, waited for 1 1/2 hours and was diaconnected by the direct messege system at 8pm… its when they close the chat support. I then waited for the bext day, same issues. Does not want to help or resolve my issues, soon as i ask gor a dupervisor they put me in a queue that ends up disconnecting afte about an hour. I then finally get to a supervisor and he blames the issue on FedEx and tellls me to call the stire itself for any linf of compensation or credit. At this point i am out 7 hours of my time… and they just keep passing the buck and just blame othwr people instead of resolving the issue. This is the wirst experience with customer servixe i have ever had.
Please know you are leaving a review and 1-star rating for the HW-S50B, but we are sorry to hear of your Best Buy experience, nonetheless. You may want to consider providing feedback directly to the Best Buy store where you made your purchase.

Works fairly well. Comes with hdmi cable and not a optical cable.you have to always manually turn on to use

Within your TV your will need to turn on HDMI-CEC. With this setting on and the Soundbar connected to the TV using the HDMI cable your Soundbar will automatically turn on/off with TV.

To optimize your audio experience, please try the various sound modes this model offers. Press the SOUND MODE button on your remote, and then select your desired sound effect: DTS VIRTUAL:X, STANDARD, MUSIC, or ADAPTIVE.
When you press the CH LEVEL button on the remote, you can adjust the volume of the CENTER speaker using the UP/DOWN buttons between -6 to +6. If the Rear Speakers (sold separately) are connected, the setting “Rear Level” is supported.
You can further adjust TREBLE and BASS via the TONE CONTROL button using the UP/DOWN buttons on the remote between -6 to +6.
Press and hold the SOUND CONTROL button for about 5 seconds to adjust the sound for each frequency band. 150Hz, 300Hz, 600Hz, 1.2kHz, 2.5kHz, 5kHz, and 10kHz are selectable using the Left/Right buttons and each can be adjusted to a setting between -6 to +6 using the Up/Down buttons. (Make sure the Sound mode is set to "Standard".
If you are looking for additional bass, beyond what the HW-S60D can provide, consider adding the compatible SWA-W510 Wireless Subwoofer from Samsung to take your audio experience to the next level.

Great in-store experience and I have no issues with the product. What is the problem is what followed and is complete incompetence in terms of setting up the installation. I set up the installation several weeks in advance for a specific day because this is a second home. After doing so the first time i received a notification that it was set up for a different day. I called back and set it up (again) for the correct day and spoke specifically to an agent. The day before the scheduled installation I get a text indicating I need to set up the installation. I call and they tell me they cannot honor the original date. I cancelled the order.
It's unfortunate to hear of your installation experience. We recommend you contact Best Buy directly for assistance. You also may want to consider providing feedback to the Best Buy store where you made your purchase. We hope your issue is resolved quickly.

As expected, the soundbar provides a greater volume range than only the TV at a budget price point.
The downside is that when the TV is first powered on, the volume is the TV setting which is much higher than the soundbar setting. As the sound transitions to the soundbar, there is no sound. Once the soundbar is activated, the volume is what it was set at before the TV was turned off.
We appreciate you taking the time to review the Samsung HW-S50B Soundbar.
If available, we recommend using the HDMI connection to your TV.
Connecting your soundbar to a TV through HDMI will provide the best audio and user experience, often eliminating any connection or delay issues you may be experiencing.
Please make sure your soundbar is using the latest firmware Version. Updating the firmware on your soundbar gives you all the benefits of the latest improvements. When the Soundbar is connected to the Internet, Auto Update allows software to update automatically even when the Soundbar is turned off. You can also update by using the SmartThings app.

Do not buy this sound bar, sound quality and volume output is no good. My personal Bluetooth speaker that is 20 watts has better sound and output than this sound bar, thats why it was included in my TV purchase

Very happy with the performance and price. I did need to purchase an optical cable instead of using the HDMI cable that came with the soundbar.
