Could be better
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works great with a samsung tv, however, you have to use the HDMI cable for it to work with QSymphony. It's not the loudest unit so don't expect a drastic difference from your normal TV speakers. I like it for the bluetooth connectivity.

I took off one star because the box was missing the HDMI cord. I purchased open box (excellent condition) which should have all parts. They said I could exchange it for another open box item but I didn’t want to rebox and take back to the store.

I read reviews on the tv and it suggested a soundbar. Honestly this soundbar made no difference. The TV audio is practically the same without it. This product is good, reasonable. For my first experience. Very simple, easy to plug in and play. Good starter

The setup voice BOOMS, but the actual volume is muted during use. The controls are neither intuitive nor easily understood and manipulated to get the desired effects. The remote control shows the same lack of usability as most SAMSUNG TVs. I would NOT recommend this product.

We appreciate you taking a few moments to review the Samsung HW-S50B Soundbar.
To optimize your audio experience, please try the various sound modes this model offers. Press the SOUND MODE button on your remote, and then select your desired sound effect: DTS VIRTUAL:X, STANDARD, MUSIC, or ADAPTIVE.
When you press the CH LEVEL button on the remote, you can adjust the volume of the CENTER speaker using the UP/DOWN buttons between -6 to +6. If the Rear Speakers (sold separately) are connected, the setting “Rear Level” is supported.
You can further adjust TREBLE and BASS via the TONE CONTROL button using the UP/DOWN buttons on the remote between -6 to +6.
Press and hold the SOUND CONTROL button for about 5 seconds to adjust the sound for each frequency band. 150Hz, 300Hz, 600Hz, 1.2kHz, 2.5kHz, 5kHz, and 10kHz are selectable using the Left/Right buttons and each can be adjusted to a setting between -6 to +6 using the Up/Down buttons. (Make sure the Sound mode is set to "Standard".

65 Inch Samsung Television

It replaced a 10 year old 60 inch Samsung. The quality of the new one is every bit as nice as my previous one that cost $1800. I am very please with the picture and extremely happy with the sound quality.

I am using the Samsung HW-S5oB in my small bedroom. I did not want a separate woofer and this was just right. I love the sound. It was super easy to set up.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It sounds terrific, however, when I'm watching over-the-air broadcasts, switching from major network stations to the secondary (or local) OTA stations, the volume changes dramatically. That doesn't happen from the TV's built in speaker. I don't know if this can be adjusted, so I'm just "living with it". Otherwise I believe it is a good sound and good value.

Good soundbar, more powerful than it looks like and still a good choice for a first soundbar. I had zero issues so far with it, good for a small apartment.

No glare screen and the colors are bright and clear. The salesman knew his televisons and explained the difference betweeen the different brands. Also he knew exactly what I needed in a sound bar. Delivery was right on time and the setup was very friendly and informative.
