I didn't read any reviews on the Samsung before going to Best Buy to get a new computer - was originally looking at the Toshiba but the salesperson showed me this one and I bought on his recommendation. I am really happy with this machine. It's fast and runs multiple programs at once with no problem. I sometimes forget it has a touch screen (which is a plus when I remember to use it because it's very convenient). Overall I can recommend the Samsung. I am not a gamer so I don't know how it handles that task but for everything else it's a great computer.

This computer has all the things I was looking for. 1 TB memory, larger keyboard that includes numbers on the side, all the ports without having to buy the stupid adapters and touch screen is great! Been using it for about a month now and it’s exactly what I needed. It’s more of a plain looking one but don’t mind cause I need practical and not just looking good.

I needed a new laptop with more speed and memory and this seems to work so far

This is a pretty slick package. I don't know that I care for the touch screen, but every other feature is EXACTLY what I was looking for. The screen is big enough that I can work with it a little further away (with wireless mouse and keyboard) and the hardware specs keep things running smoothly whether I'm gaming (as a filthy casual) or working. It fits between my last, pretty weak laptop and my over-powered gaming desktop. It's too convenient - I haven't sat at my desk in a few weeks.

My son who uses this says it is a good, reliable laptop, good touch screen, fast and reliable. Got lots of memory though he says he does not use it all. Good quality computer for a reasonable price.

Nice laptop, 15" display with touch screen. Only one drawback that we have found. Seems that the capslock and numlock lights are too expensive so they left them both off of this model. Not fun when trying to deal with all the passwords that we need to use these days.

Bought this laptop for my eldest daughter. She's a Samsung enthusiast and was in need of an updated laptop (Toshiba products previously). She loves the 15.6” size, it's light and easy to carry. Setup was easy and quick and connected easily to her Samsung phone. The dedicated video card allows for quick startup of her Adobe programs and movies. Samsung's Extended Battery program gives her the ability to charge up quickly and work plugged in without worrying about ruining the battery life. Only real con is the singular led status light when she was used to three (sleep/hibernate status, battery status, & charging). Overall, great product for the price and my daughter says she will be a Samsung fan for life.

The Samsung Notebook 5 is fast, versatile, and has great screen quality. I like that it is light enough to carry, yet powerful enough for the various architectural drawing packages that I use. It can be used as a tablet by utilizing the "lay-flat" screen and on-screen keyboard.

My first mistake was not understanding enough about computers. If all you need to do is surf the web and use simple office software, then this is your laptop. I do photography and manage websites. I require better processing. This laptop has no SD card slot or DVD rom. With only 2-3 USB slots you can use, imagine how you can run out real quick when you have a bulky external card already sticking out of the port next to another one you can't use because the card reader is blocking it. I could barely download Photoshop, let alone use it. I was ready to throw the laptop out the window because it was so slow. I bought this online, and I'm sure if I was in the store I would have gotten something else. Luckily, I was able to exchange it in store and the staff educated me better and I got a laptop that was only $50 more and works fantastic!

I absolutely love this laptop! I am a graphic design major and it is perfect! The screen size and graphics card are great! It's way faster than my old laptop.

well its a 15.6 with touch screen super fast and the graphics amazing it's a little expensive but worth its if it continues to perform as it does now

The laptop is great for gaming. Bought it for my young son and so far he doesn’t have any issues. He just wished the laptop can be folded instead just having to have just the touch screen.

All told this laptop is worth the cost when comparing it's performance and specs. The only ding I would give it, is that the Mousepad has an awkward feel to the touch. But that is insignificant and my own preference. Otherwise good machine

Got this for way below the expected price since I am a bargain hunter. $349.00 for a unit that was stashed in a corner of the clearance item shelf with a tiny scratch on the upper part behind the screen. I’m very satisfied since I didn’t find any defects nor flaws when it comes to the overall operation of this PC. Can’t beat the price for an Intel Core i5 7th gen, and with Nvidia GEForce for gaming like WoW and Starcraft, it works perfectly. Thanks B.B. for a great deal!

This is a great laptop and its easy to setup, it walks you through the setup process so you don’t have to guess what to do. It can be operated with or without a mouse and its fast enough to play games on.

I searched online for the best laptop for us and we needed something that would handle standard business applications and some gaming. This laptop has exceeded all expectations!! Also, it is touchscreen!

I like the long battery life, the touch screen and it's fast.

This device hits that sweet spot between tablet and laptop with its touchscreen display, entry level gaming specs and small form factor. Weighing only 5 lbs, it looks great with a sleek Samsung branded black chassis that folds completely open so that it can be used like a large tablet. With the stock specs I can run World of Warcraft at max settings, though StarCraft 2 on max settings does hitch a bit. Good for a little portable gaming between whatever else you do with it.
