Samsung makes a very nice computer. This one replaced an hp touch screen that did 13 months after buying it. Samsung makes it easy to upgrade the memory and the hard drive as they are accessible from below. In addition the Nvidia graphics card is very powerful. Great for gaming and graphic design. The really nice features are the automation to all updates using Samsungs update feature. Really nice tool with a great interface. Other feature to this is the backup program. Again, clean and nice interface. If you have Dropbox or any cloud storage it easily adds it as a backup destination. Overall, I would recommend this computer. One last item.... It has a metal case, so it feels sturdy and is not flimsy. I hated the hp because it felt flimsy over time.

After years of using a Mac, I'm steadily migrating back to PC. I was looking for a versatile laptop that the whole family could use. Something I can use for work, my wife can use to stream Netflix, and a machine that can handle my sons' games and homework. Startup is very fast and so far I don't have any complaints about speed. Having a touch screen is a great feature that I'm finding myself using a lot more than I thought I would. We don't have any large games loaded yet, but it has easily handled the few web-based games my sons have played on it. I am looking forward to seeing how it can perform with it's dedicated graphics memory. Runs cool and quietly and battery life seems to be above average for a laptop. We haven't had this laptop for very long, but I'm confident it is the versatile do anything machine I was looking for.

One of the best laptops I've owned. Nice, clean style and very easy to use. I'm not a huge gamer, but the built in graphics card is great and powerful enough to play almost any game, without paying a fortune. Great product!

I was looking for a laptop so I could transition away from a desktop but I didn't need all the bells and whistles. This suits me for web browsing, email, music and YouTube with the occasional word processing.

Plays my games, video editing software and I like the touch screen. However the battery life is shorter than expected even when not running high process programs. Feels like it needs to be plugged in all the time. Also you have to press a little harder on these keys for it to register. Lastly this laptop does not come with a CD/DVD drive which I didn't see mentioned in the description. Overall decent laptop but the price mostly comes from the graphics card.

5 stars if it weren't for the speaker location. I'd say my only complaints would be the speakers on the bottom of the laptop, if it's sitting on my lap or bed it's muffled. And the material the base is made of leaves hand prints, so I'm constantly cleaning it. My Old Samsung didn't do that and had speakers under the screen. Keyboard is comfortable, light weight but sturdy. PROS: Camera is positioned at the top of the screen ( I saw so many models with it under), keyboard, durability, Screen is glossy BUT does not reflect as much as other models. (The HP i tried would reflect my face into the screen just from the light of the laptop.) Light weight but sturdy!! CONS: Speaker location underneath laptop, base material leaves hand prints, no quick button to turn touchscreen on/off Basis for my use: I use my PC for social media, video chat, picture storage, internet, youtube, movies, and light writing. (note: does not come with CD/DVD drive)

I never expected this laptop to be that good, I purchase this for my wife and this laptop has a really powerful processor, and the video processor helps to be really fast and reliable, the multitasking is smooth

I used to buy Asus laptops, but after having 3 Asus laptops in a row have their hard drives go out within 2 years, I decided to switch brands. So far, I'm very happy with this Samsung laptop. It has a surprisingly long battery life; I can use it on and off all day on one charge. It's a nice size and is made pretty well. I really like that it's black and not the light silver that most other laptops are these days. I use this laptop everyday and haven't had a single problem with it. The only cons are that its a little slower to start up than I'm used to, it can get warm when it runs for a long time (I recommend a cooling pad to put under it), and it does not have a SD card slot (but you can buy a USB adapter for under $10).

I watch a lot of videos, pay bills, and play a few games and this computer is perfect. It was a very reasonable price and the processor is fast enough that I enjoy using it. I would definitely buy it again.

I've been a MacBook user for years, my Son is not. For the longest time he's been trying to convince me about how much more 'bang for the buck' there is with a 'non Mac' laptop, but I've always needed simplicity. He's a techie, I'm not. This is the first non Mac laptop I've had that's been simple to use, has the capabilities and power I need for work/school, plus having the touchscreen is great!

I've been retired for some time now. This laptop offers the easiest set up I've ever experienced; exceptional ease of use; clean, clear functions; exceptional smooth, and FAST downloads; stays cool; sharp screen...I can't say enough good things about it!

I've been a desktop user for around 19 years. That's all I ever knew. I finally decided to downsize and went to Best Buy looking for a laptop. A good friend is an employee there and he walked me through some of the options in the computer area. He showed me the Samsung Notebook and explained a good deal of its functionality. Then he showed me the price tag. I fell in love at once. The Geek Squad was able to transfer all my picture and music files from my old Dell onto the Notebook. I was overall very pleased with the whole experience and love my new Notebook.

It's a great laptop for gaming and my school work with its 2gb graphics card and plenty of storage for my music and ebooks

I did 2 days and several hrs of research questioning what every feature meant. That's my biggest advise to you to learn computer lingo, compare features and pricing and ask about every feature til you are satisfied you understand

Bought for my two sons because they wanted a gaming laptop. They love it and have had no complaints. More than enough storage space!

Bought an Acer thru Amazon for 800 and returned 2 days later. This was $100 less and runs much quieter, better sound and a touch screen.

I haven't had any problems with the computer so far except for a couple glitches with windows 10, but they were resoled within a week. The 3.0 USB port could have been color coded blue, and there should be an SD slot for memory cards. The hard drive could be updated to a 7200 model vs the 5400. Otherwise it plays videos, music and games like doom with no problems. Nice computer for the price.
