Over the years market got proliferated with cheap substitutes for everyday electronics. Memory cards are one of those things. All retailers offer the 'deal' brands... over time I had used all kinds of memory and there was one thing in common, quality of 'branded' memory cards... Samsung is my go to for Dashcam microSD and this time I needed memory card for my new camera, Samsung was the first choice. Excellent card with very good performance. Btw. My very first SmartMedia card is still working in my vintage Olympus camera (20+ years in age), it is Toshiba, not Samsung, but old saying 'good is not cheap and cheap is not good' proves the point...

The size of this memory card allows us to take a lot of pictures without have to change out memory card. The transfer speeds are also great because allow us to take pictures and video with no delays.

I use this card in both my Nikon Z5 and Panasonic G100. It has the write speeds to keep up with the 100 megabit bitrate rate of both systems. The transfer speeds to my PC are superb as well.

The 256 is a nice card size for cameras with dual card slots such as the Z5 / Z5ii. That way you're constantly backing up your photos, and if you lose a SD card, then you're safe.
