Not the Samsung product but the Salesperson Best Buy did not give me what I needed. I HAVE to have wireless speaker and went thru Mgr and got SONOS and am THRILLED. I am sure the Samsung is fine but not for me. js....

When I purchased this soundbar for my birthday to replace an old Samsung blue ray home theater system with wireless rear speakers I was thrilled. Setup was easy and the surround sound from the wireless sub-woofer and rear speakers was excellent. I bought it February 28th and installed it March 1st. It worked flawlessly so on March 20th I finally cut up the big box and packaging for the recycle bin and garbage. That very night I turned on the TV/soundbar annnnd, crickets. NO SOUND!!!! I tried everything, all the sound modes and inputs. The funny thing is, the soundbar talks when you change modes to tell you what each setting is on. I switched HDMI cables to the TV but nothng worked. I was able to connect my phone to the soundbar via Bluetooth and listen to music from the phone through the surround speakers. Now I don't know if the older Samsung TV isn't sending the signal to the "External Speaker" setting or if the soundbar isn't accepting what's coming to it from the TV on the HDMI cable. I have no way to check this and other than buying a new TV I will have to make a service appointment at the Best Buy store to see if they can check it out first. I would have given a 5 star review were it not for this issue because I was very happy before March 20th. If I find that the problem is my TV i will update and increase the stars.

It’s definitely different from the Vizio we just replaced with it. Still working on figuring it out.
