Customers recognize the Showcase refrigerator's spaciousness, with many mentioning that it has more than enough storage. The door-in-door and deli drawer features are also well-received. However, there are concerns about the ice maker not working properly and loud noises coming from the refrigerator. Some customers have also expressed dissatisfaction with the warranty.

I love this 4 door, french door refrigerator. The only issue I have is that the ice-maker dispenses the cubes a little crushed also. The unit is quiet, it is convenience personified with the middle drawer that I use for a combination of beverages and lunch meats/cheeses. The freezer is totally awesome! The top tray allows for arranging boxed items for easy access and the bottom bins are large enough for everything I have. A great buy, especially when you catch it on sale as i did.

I love the space and well thought out drawers and shelves. We are a condiment family so the left door shelves were a little shallow but we made it work. The water filter is great! Our city water tastes terrible so I've been using a Shaklee water pitcher. I'm not sure if samsungs filter gets all the toxins out like shaklee but it certainly leaves the water tasting as good as shaklee.

I love this refrigerator. Definitely get the 29.5 or larger. The smaller sizes have no room in the left door unless it's little bottles. The door in door is great and convenient for the kids to get out milk and water bottles with out opening the entire door. The main refrigerator area is large and deep and fits a lot of stuff without overcrowding. The multi select drawer is great fo all kinds of uses. The bottom freezer was easy for us to get use too and works great. People gave some bad ratings on the ice maker and we have not experienced any problems and it makes ice quickly and cubes are normal size and rock hard. It does make some noise especially when the ice is popping lose and dropping. One night at 11:30 pm I thought someone hit the front door with something but when I came down stairs it was the ice maker doing its job. I also hear it when it kicks on in a quiet house but it's not loud or concerning. The temperatures hold true for all areas and food stays fresh. The water dispenser did drip for the first 3-4 days but only a little bit and per the instructions that was expected and it is now working normal and not dripping. Love the clean look and would have loved the cool metal cooling drawer and main compartment but that had just come out and was not available and we needed the refrigerator at the time.

The design of this appliance is well thought out! I love the fact that larger serving items fit well without having to rearrange other items. This has been a problem when we have family gatherings, but no more! The sleek design in my remodeled kitchen is a plus! The 'fridge is very quiet and I don't even hear the ice maker clacking as I did with my last side-by-side.

We went from a side by side GE to this fridge. We love it! Our family consists of 5 people, ages 10 to well ...old enough. We love the additional space this gives us and the way it's organized. Especially love the 4 doors (deli drawer). Other french door models we looked at had the deli drawer in the main body of the fridge and seemed hard to open and be in the way when trying to open it. Having it as a separate drawer is convenient.
The other great feature is the quick entry door on the right. This has been great, as we keep the gallon of milk right there for quick in and out use. It keeps the fridge from losing all it's cool air and milk is the #1 item we use from the fridge.
While this model is a bit louder than our side by side we replaced it with, it's likely we notice the buzz when the compressor kicks on because of that fact, so I don't know how it compares to other models like this. It's impossible to tell how loud it will be in your home when trying to hear the compressor showroom floor.
The ice / water dispenser has a tall opening and the display panel is easy to use and looks nice.
Overall, we're happy with it. Best Buy was good to work with, the deliver team was professional and courteous.

My wife LOVES this fridge and I think the front half door is a great functionality as well...store small items (insulin) in the top and gallon jug in the bottom to get easy access without opening the entire door. The freezer is pretty deep also...holds a lot of frozen food.

Best refrigerator I've owned!

And, I've owned a few. It's huge inside with shelves large enough to store almost anything. Love the one that lifts up and out of the way for taller items. The controls are easy to use, which is always a plus. The metal lining on the inside of the door really does help keep milk and anything else stored there cooler than our old side by side door storage. Wasn't sure if I'd really use that middle drawer, but it's the one I use the most. The freezer section is also huge and even keeps ice cream fresh. And, if you like appliances that are just nice to look at, this is it. We read that Samsung isn't the greatest on service, so we took out the Best Buy extended warranty. Hope we don't have to actually use it, but it is nice for piece of mind when you pay this much for a refrigerator.

This refrig is awesome ! Love love love the third drawer it gives so much extra space. The veggie trays are keeping my vegetables crisper longer...a definite plus. the water/ ice dispenser is tall enough for my drink bottle...great. And the half door on the upper right side is soo convenient to keep things easily accessible . This is the BEST refrig I have ever owned.

Great space and organization. Ice is made quickly. Only thing we are trying to figure out is how much space it needs to breathe properly, we have it set in a built in with minimal space around it.

I love almost everything about this fridge. I love the adjustable shelves. The ice maker isn't big and bulky like most of them are. We use the door for milk and other drinks for easy access. The deli drawer is conveniently designed to easily change settings so you can use it for other things. The freezer is huge and has an additional storage on the freezer door itself which comes in very handy. My only complaint with this fridge is the design of the water & ice dispenser. I wish my shower had the same water pressure this dispenser has. The water comes out so strong & hard it sprays water everywhere and makes a mess EVERY time. The ice dispenser design is just as horrible. The design doesn't keep the ice from spilling everywhere and making a mess. The ice dispenser gives you the option of crushed or cubed but they both make a mess. If Samsung fixed this issue, this would be the perfect fridge.

I like the features on the refrigerator. Its big, brightly lit, the drawer is nice and it does what its supposed to do when cooling things. However, the ice maker auger broke after four months. Its under warranty according to Samsung's one-year warranty claim. However, when I requested service online using Samsung's form, I was contacted by email a couple days later asking for more information. You cannot simply reply to the email with the information, you have to submit another form and include a customer ID number. Annoying, but I did it. Then, the form would not accept my serial number. It stated it wasn't valid. I chose the option to chat with someone, who was obviously not from the US but he or she did not have difficulty understanding me. I sent him or her the SN and Model Number and the picture I am attaching here. He or she tells me its physical damage and not covered under warranty. What? Is Samsung saying that the refrigerator is under warranty unless it breaks? That's like saying I can cure you unless you get sick. Or was he or she accusing me of misuse? It broke while dispensing ice. Maybe dispensing ice with the ice dispenser is misuse? It clearly broke because its plastic and should probably be metal. Obviously I'm not satisfied with this so he states that if the repair tech thinks it physical damage it will be chargeable. Whatever. So, in the next couple days I am contacted by a computer and asked to hold for the next available operator in 10 minutes. What? Again, annoying but obviously I have to wait. Then the person comes on from Service King. I suppose a third-party and she asks me if I'm aware that my refrigerator is out of warranty. No I wasn't aware because its not. So she rudely transfers me in a cold method to a person at Samsung who has no idea why I'm calling her now. We're both confused for a while then realize that there is some confusion on the date that I purchased the refrigerator. I wonder why since I was already asked for this information by the outsourced person by chat. She asks me to email the receipt to an email address. She begins to phonetically spell the address, E like elephant, F like Fox,.... C like Ocean. Excuse me? Ocean starts with an O? Its sounds like you said C or Z. Do you by chance mean Sea as in a synonym for Ocean? Yes, she says. Wow, well done. So here I am now. I've been given three different customer numbers, ticket numbers and subject numbers and I've sent the email into an apparent black hole. I have no idea what to do now other than write this review and hope an pray. Someone or something contacts me. Does anyone think that this warranty service claim process is designed to actually keep you from using it? I'm starting to think that.

Love the Fridge. All the features are great, tons of room. There is a minor issue with tall items, however since the shelves fold away or slide it hasn't bothered me. Water and ice maker absolutely phenomenal, and freezer space is great.

Replaced our 20 year old fridge with this beauty so needless to say pretty much anything was going to be better. This fridge looks outstanding, Fit n finish is super nice. LED lighting makes it bright and easy to see everything. The third door with pop out container trays are a great feature. Two things to be aware of, the fridge tends to be a bit noisy when it's cycling its power. Also the ice cube dispenser does not deliver clean cut cubes and shavings of ice fly out causing what looks to be water drip but really it's just ice melting. Overall a beautiful appliance and one that will get many compliments.

Overall the Fridge is big enough for our 5 person family and looks great. although It is rather noisy mechanically at times. I heard a loud buzzing coming from the kitchen only to find out it was the refrigerator. Also the Ice comes out of the dispenser extremely slow and when on cubed is not whole most cubes look like they have been crushed. If I didn't have these two issues it would be a 5 rating...

This refrigerator has tons of options that I love. It holds temperature in both fridge and freezer well, Drawer great for holding cans of drinks. One thing I really wanted was the ice and water feature but this has caused some issues. Ice has always worked but the tray is extremely hard to take out or put back in. The water as stopped dispensing a few times and seems to freeze up. I have managed to get it working every time so far without a whole lot of work.
