Great add on for the security system. Small and compact

Works really well if you are in the Smartthings ecosystem. I do wish they were a bit smaller or at least be able to hide them a bit easier, but maybe I'll find some different mounting options to try.

I bought 4 of these as I liked the size and responsiveness as the one that came with my kit. Unfortunately, they seem like they are less sensitive. 2 of them disconnected from my smartthings hub within a month, and one was 10 feet away.

It's ideal for monitoring the temperature in a secondary location at my home. The motion sensor is a plus

Trouble connecting the first one but battery connection was broken. No problem in returning and getting replacement. Have had no issues thus far and using as automation lighting activation.

I've had the sensor for 2 years. It was completely useless the first year when I tried to use it with the Wink hub. It just can't keep the connection and is very unreliable. I've upgraded to a Smarthings hubs. These sensors are much more reliable and could do some work. However, it can't be used as a hard-core security device. The range is too short. It doesn't get triggered until I get as close as 5 feet. I used this to turn on my kitchen light when I walk out to the kitchen, It usually doesn't trigger till I'm very close to the switch (I have the sensor above the switch), which is kind of useless The only useful function I found is to turn off the light (save electricity) when no motion detect (but again, It turned off the light when I'm sitting more than 5 feet away) . Another cons is that it's using the button cell battery CR2477. It's probably to make the device compact, but it's just too much to have to keep many battery types ready.

I bought this to see if I could have a light turned on in a room at the top of a staircase when someone entered after dark and turned it off if no one remained in the room. While it was extremely easy to install (pair and place in the room) it did take a little experimenting to get the SmartThings App to perform the way I wanted it to based on its trigger. Now that it is set it works like a champ!

This unit is small and light weight. Can put is anywhere. No trouble with installation.

Easily added this device to my SmartThings app. I initially bought this to sync with Cree Smart bulbs to add motion detected lights but the lag was too long. I would be half way into the room before the bulbs turn on. Not sure if the lag is with this device or the bulbs though. Looks like motion is detected very quickly. I like the fact that it has a temperature sensor built in as well.

This Sensor is used constantly for temperature and to turn light on/off in the evening. It is also set up for home security. It has been working like a charm.

Attaches to router right away but of you let the battery get low it can disconnect and the it won't reconnect without a lot of manipulation. Smartphone can be slow to react to changes. I also have had multiple messages show up late to my phone and they never stop. When it works it's great. I would use this to complement a wired system.

So far so good, put two in my staircase. One at the bottom and one at the top. Had to mask the lenses some to avoid false tripping.

I got 2 motion sensors to go with my SmartThings home one for the living room and the other for the Basement. The living room one works just fine notifying of real motions however the I am having some issues with the basement motion sensor giving me false notifications which is freaking my wife out sometimes. All in all its great security product
