This sensor made a great addition to my smart home & home security. Works great & I would recommend this product to anyone.

Worked fine for couple of weeks and then started dropping off. That's when I learned that it does that all the time and only solution is resetting and reconnecting it to the hub. Supposedly the issue will be resolved with new version of the communication protocol that it incorporates. Until then just skip to the next option.

The motion sensors work really well in various lighIt/dark areas. I've got 2 in strategic areas already, and got this one to float around as needed. Used it alert me when people were going upstairs to my office.

Excellent item. Easy installation, great app. The perfect sensor to monitor any motion in my house and surrounding areas.

The smart things sensor works well - once it connects to the hub. Had to return one due to being faulty (not connecting to the hub, even after multiple resets on both the device and network). The sensor picks up almost everything w/ the field of vision - works great if you have multiple to capture virtually all movements.

Bought 2 motion sensors in addition to ones i already have. I love them. They work great most of the time. Sometimes, for no reason they stop working and I need to reset the battery. I believe its a smartthings platform problem, no a motion sensor problem. Overall they are great though and help automate lights and other items.

I bought the SmartThings Starter Kit from Best Buy, but it only came with one motion detector. I bought the second one to use to turn on the backyard lights and to detect intruders. It works great. It was easy to setup and add it to my SmartThings system. I placed it under my eaves to protect it from the weather and not easy to tamper with. It is over 60 feet away from my hub and the signal is nice and strong. I have had the SmartThings motion detector for over 2 months with no problems.

This works exactly as you need it to. It was bought for a bedroom and it's more versatile than a door sensor. The door has glass on it, so someone could come in and not trip the door sensor. I would recommend it.

This sensor works great, pairs easily with the hub. My only issue, which is why I gave it 4 stars, is that it is overly sensitive and can't be adjusted. This has resulted in numerous false alerts.

Watch this item Have gotten of Amazon and other vendors the battery holder is not made right and battery is loose resulting in improper operation of the unit. Best buys were good. Just not always in stock

I placed one near my front door, one near my back door, and one near my garage door. The devices work great. I receive a notification on my phone at work when there is motion in my house.

Sensor is better than I thought it has temperature readings as well as if a door or window is open. Very responsive and the app tells you what’s going on within seconds of it happening.

Bought this sensor to add to my outdoor camera system in order to monitor my home while on vacation. Had my brother check house every other day each time he entered I was notified before he texts me he was in. The other thing that I thought was even cooler was the sensor even logged temperature changes, had I been gone on during the winter and it was a freezing temp drop I could have turned on Heat to prevent any broken, pipes

The motion sensor works good, but it is not tuned to avoid house pets

Very reliable, with a quick sampling rate and, thus far, outstanding battery life (after more than a month, still at 100% batter life). Highly recommended.

I dlove wish the motion sensors had a bit further of a range. Otherwise i. like them

The Samsung motion/temperature sensor was easily added to my SmartThings hub. It is an attractive sensor that looked good wherever I placed it. Integration with Stringify flows worked well. The temperature sensor component of this device seemed to work accurately, too. My issue is the distance. This motion sensor claims a range of approximately 15 - 20 feet. However, in various applications and placements that I tried, I consistently could only get a response at around 5 feet maximum distance. It might be fine if your application requires only a short distance to trigger the sensor. I tried to find a place to use it, but I really needed more distance capability. I ended up returning the sensor for that reason.

Got for a deal but range is too small and sensitivity is bad. I could run fast and not get caught by sensor or move very slow and it stll didnt catch me. Returned it and got GE with 3x range for same price.

Picked up several of these when on sale. Paired easily with Smarthings hub. Wish there was a way to easily mount in a corner for better coverage in certain areas
