The Samsung Smart-Things multipurpose sensor in white can provide any home with security for a fraction of what others cost.

Purchased a few sensors and they've become the best security devices I ever owned. Notifications whenever a door or window is opened.

Bought this as an addition to my SmartThings endpoints and the multi-sensor in here is just fantastic for monitoring doors, etc.

Works perfectly so far. Battery will appear to run down very quickly if you live in cold climate - but it stays there without an issue.

Purchased one unit and it wasn't working but Best Buy let me exchange the next day, no hassle. Excellent addition and Easy to set up.

This product works in two ways. One is to use its accelerometer feature and the second is the open close feature with the accessory

I purchase it to keep my fridge closed. It gets job done with old app. The new app has not integrate all functions just yet.

Why buy cheaper ones?! These connect every time with SMartthings hub and are totally integrated into the software.

Contact in itself is good, but battery drains quick compared to my schalge contacts. The temperature is almost always -10f off.

This is a very good idea but it has dropped the wifi connection a few times. I installed it on our freezer door after the door was not closed properly and lost frozen meat. I wanted the sensor to allow me to monitor door open/close and it does well for that. I have replaced my wireless router and the connection has not dropped the last few days. If it stays stable I will install another on my garage door to monitor open/closed on it.

If you are looking for an economical alarm for your apartment the Smartthing from Samsung is it.

Overall it works for the task designed as well as any other contact sensor. Their are smaller out there, but it's for an ST Hun

Purchased the complete smartthings kit for home but it disconnects too often. Not recommended.

Got these for a friend and she seemed to love it. The set up was a little weird and the app but overall not bad

We got this sensor to add another door monitor to our Smart Things system. It works well and we haven't had any problems.

Great product. The common problem of multiple systems not connecting together with Apple products. That is a little frustrating.

Bought 4 cameras, but one did not work properly. Took some time and jumping through some hoops, but problems were resolved.

Works great as a door sensor, I accidentally thought it would also do motion but even as just a contact sensor it works great.
